It was a pleasure to work with Christina and the entire CS design team during the build of our new home in 2020. CS Design provided amazing service from start to finish of our project and were always available to provide guidance and advice (no matter how big or small!). CS Design's process was first rate, starting with an initial consultation to discuss our styles and preferences before guiding us through a multi-day shopping trip to make selections for our build. It was daunting for us, and would have been overwhelming on our own, but CS Design provided hands-on support and expertise to make the experience not only manageable, but enjoyable! During our final review meeting at their office, we felt like we were on HGTV walking through the selections for our dream home. The fantastic support didn't end there; CS Design worked closely with us throughout the entire build, providing quality control and ensuring that our selections carried over to our new home. When issues arose due to COVID-related product delays, CS Design was quick to find available alternates that still matched our style and function requirements. We couldn't imagine having embarked on such a big project without the help of CS Design's talented team and can't recommend them highly enough for those in need of design consulting.

I simply can not say enough good things about the entire team at CS Design. As true designers they really, I mean really know their stuff when it comes to kitchens and beyond. They also understand construction and what it takes to work with contractors. Christina, Brittany, and Kathryn were always very professional and responsive to my questions, seeing everything through all the way to delivery and follow-up (I had my builder install). I also love my Greenfield cabinetry - high quality and durability. I had one small factory mistake - CS Design responded immediately and the manufacturer honored the fix. If only all aspects of renovations went as smoothly as this did. I strongly recommend working with CS Design over the more traditional cabinet showrooms where you are likely to get a salesperson that puts together a 'design' and not a true designer that understands your home. I get so many compliments on my kitchen and I just couldn't be happier in my new space!

CS Design is a fantastic group to work with. Christina and her team are very talented, patient, creative, and resourceful. I have utilized their design services on two new home builds over the past 4 years and I highly recommend them. Super pleasant people on top of highly skilled. This last house was built during the height of the pandemic’s supply chain issues and they still made minor miracles happen to get my house completed on time. Christina and her crew helped us with every aspect of remodeling our split level home She was instrumental in helping us craft a budget and stick to it, giving us industry tips and discounts as well as helping point out issues with our builder to help us save time and money The end to end process was well documented and thorough and we definitely feel like every dollar with her and her team was well spent. I really don’t know how we would have done it without them

Our experience with Christina, and her team at C/S Design, was nothing short of fabulous. She is both a professional of the highest caliber and a very patient, kind person that is easy and fun to work with. Christina started by actively listening and understanding our vision to build our dream retirement home at Lake Anna VA . In doing so, she perfectly captured this in an overall design concept called “refined rustic”. She then developed a comprehensive, logical plan and layout of the rooms. Once the overall design of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms etc were complete, she then helped us with all of the different selections needed, such as plumbing, fixtures and appliances and all the way down to the details of paint colors and cabinet hardware. During this process, her extensive network and relationships with quality vendors was both impressive and timesaving. Moreover, her ability in guiding our selections in the context of our vision and input was invaluable. Throughout our journey Christina was a reassuring guiding hand as she routinely helped us make important decisions and adjusting from the original house design as needed along the way. We truly could not have achieved this without C/S Designs expertise. We unconditionally and without reservation recommend her to anyone who wants success and to also make a new friend along the way.

Christina and her team are amazing. My only issue is that I wish we had her on board BEFORE we finalized our house architecture plans. I am someone who does not need or want to look at 100s of door knobs or fixture or tiles. I have no desire to spend hours and hours on different combinations of carpet and paint. However, I definitely want a home that reflects me. The solution is Christina. She knows these areas backwards and forwards. She figures out (or we tell her) what are our must-have items verse wish-list. As a consequence, I have a kitchen area that mixes colors and neutrals. I did not want an all-white kitchen that showed every bit of dirt. It is beautiful and I appreciate the teal island and green backsplash next to dove gray cabinets. She showed us different tile combinations that work well together at our price point. Key point in any business relationship is to have people who respect your budget, tell you when you are being overly miserly and/or where you can buy 'high value' (translation--cheaper) components. We have mushroom lighting (saving point) in closets and a marvelous sputnik fixture in our entry way. Christina could tell that I did not like any of the tile options for the kids' shared bathroom and we went through several before she hit on 'jazz,' which is perfect--bright and cheerful next to white subway but not too cutesy. It will be fine for when they are older too. Christina and her team use drop box and I love having that easy electronic connection to our decisions, easy to show everyone, easy to remind our builder. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. A must for any complex building project. She was our house 'wedding planner' and saved my sanity. I highly recommend her.

Christina and her team helped us make all the fixture, appliance and surface selections for our new home. They were knowledgeable and highly professional, qualities that were even more valuable since this all happened during the beginning stages of the Pandemic. Christina guided us through the various vendors’ Covid protocols so that we could make selections while keeping safe. Everything arrived on time and looks great. After nearly two years in the house, we would not have changed one thing that C/S Design Studio helped us select. Highly recommended.

Christina and her team are real pros! They designed our basement for us about 10 years ago, and we returned to them for our kitchen (photos on their web site, with gold counter stools) and then for our primary bath last year. They not only provided creative design options, they were able to meld our design tastes to results the whole family loves. They were also amazingly fast and efficient. We are happy to whole-heartedly recommend c|s Design Studio!

We are building a house and could not have done this without Christina and her team at c/s Design. Her skills, knowledge of details and experience has eliminated all of our stress. She has made the process of every aspect of building a new house flawless from spice cabinets to solid core doors. Chritina and her team were fantastic to work with. They helped me design my large kitchen space. I had a pretty good vision of what I wanted, and not only did they make it come to life, they, had ideas I never even thought about that made the space that much more stunning. Christina and her team did an absolutely AMAZING job helping us design our new home! From start to finish, her team was such a joy to work with! They were creative, insightful, organized, and extremely knowledgeable which made the process incredibly smooth and enjoyable. In the very first meeting, Christina and her team listened to what we were looking for in terms of style and functionality of the home. We love to entertain and have large family & friend gatherings and wanted each room to be beautifully designed with built-ins and features that allowed us to do this with style and ease. That said, we also have three young kids, so it was also very important to us to have a warm and inviting home with finishes that could hold up to the wear and tear of kids. Christina and her team truly listened and presented us with ideas and options for each room that surpassed all our expectations. What impressed me the most was their ability to look at the entire project and ensure a cohesive design throughout and yet, come up with unique and beautiful ideas for each of the spaces (which included eight bathrooms, a kitchen + three wet-bars, four fireplaces, and multiple custom cabinet built-ins)! We would absolutely recommend Christina and her team to anyone looking to do a truly beautiful and custom home!

Christina Simon and her team redesigned two important living spaces for us: master bedroom/bathroom and our family room. We have renovated other parts of our home over the past 20 years and the entire process with Christina was significantly better than we expected. Our design tastes aligned with the CS Design team and we much appreciated their efficiency. Christina has a collection of contractors that she works with and she was a critical part of the bidding process. Christina and our contractor worked together seamlessly to execute the plan and she resolved any implementation issues quickly and kept us informed along the way. We appreciated the "handholding" along the way; in some cases it was difficult to envision the end result as we watched the construction happen (the sausage being made...) and the CS Design team were masters at managing the occasional renovation anxiety. The project came in on budget and on time. The true test during this pandemic time: my wife works in the family room and is frequently on video calls for meetings and conferences. She has received many compliments on the room design and some think it's a stock Zoom/Teams background photo! Definitely a 10/10 on Room Rater! Our only regret is that we didn't work with Christina and the CS Design team on earlier projects.
