Landcraft Studio

We used Landcraft Studio for both the design process and the execution of our landscape project. What started out as a rehab of our front yard quickly became a complete remodel of our entire front, side and back yards including our pool. We were extremely impressed by the attention to detail on every aspect of our project from the plans created by Drew the landscape architect, the project management by Daniel and the execution by Benny's and Tony's teams. All of the team members were the utmost professionals and took pride in their work. Many of our neighbors commented how impressed they were with the team when then walked by our home during the project. The Landcraft Studio Team's communication throughout the project was exceptional and we always knew EXACTLY what work would be completed each day. Questions were answered promptly and there was always a willingness to explain any detail of the project. Once the project commenced there were NO delays and the team saw the project through to its completion which in our experience was a refreshing change. We could not be happier with the results. Working with Daniel, Drew, Tony, Benny, and the Landcraft Studio Team was a pleasure and we would not hesitate to recommend them for your landscaping project!

I couldn't be more pleased with the process and the outcome working with Landcraft on our re-landscape plan. First we did a working plan with Drew. His plans included everything we needed for bidding the job and he was very easy when I wanted small adjustments or had a wish list. Once we began the work, they sent me a text every morning telling me what was happening and who would be coming to do the work. If I had concerns about anything I could send them a text or a picture and the were extremely responsive. Their people were also very easy to work with and we love the final product. Highly recommend Landcraft if you are considering some landscape work! Our yard is lovely and easy to maintain.

Landcraft Studio did a great job with my yard! Danny and Drew arrived together and were a dream to work with! They listened well to all of our ideas (and some of mine were rambling and still forming!) and met each of our ideas with more! I loved their suggestions for trees. We were looking for texture and color, plants the kids could interact with, and trees that reflect seasons. We love our Strawberry tree that is thriving! We added a few fruit trees and iceberg roses mixed in with our lavender and rosemary. I also respected their wisdom -- there were a few tropical plants I'd put on my list that I wanted to include, but that wouldn't have fit well with the others or thrived as well in our light. So I'm thankful they advised us against those and redirected us. I strongly recommend hiring this team. They are knowledgable, great communicators, and wonderfully kind! And their finished products look beautiful. Run don't walk!

We live in Newport Beach and Landcraft Studio did a great job on our landscape project. They worked within our budget to revitalize both our front and back landscaping. We went for a desert landscape theme with succulents and grasses in front, and a greener, more tropical feel in the back yard. They helped with hardscape ideas and pool design for us to implement later. The consultation process at the beginning was especially helpful. They got a sense for the vibe we were going for, and got very detailed as we planned plantings and location for future projects as our investment grows over time. Landcraft even did renderings to help visualize the new space. The team showed up on time and communicated by text with me before, during, and after work days. They were very accessible through the job. I would recommend working with them.

We loved working with the Landcraft Studio team! They took the time to understand what we were looking for, as well as our budget, and they completely transformed our yard. It’s exactly what we were looking for! A few things that stood out was their great communication (always responded quickly to any questions or requests), professional team, punctuality, quality of work, and quick timeline to get everything done. They also have great vision for transforming a space. I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

If you are someone who has a vision but needs to see things quickly in 3D, I would not recommend them. If you know exactly what you want, and you can make the connection of how things in black and white or basic colored layout will translate to your backyard then they are good. They have the option of 3D but it would cost extra, and I was not comfortable paying that extra fee until the design was more finalized but we never reached that point. We met them in Jan 2023, paid about $7K for the design. We had a few meetings, I sent them an idea board, they did not incorporate things I asked, then I had to wait another 5-10 days for a further revision, so on so forth, until 6 months later we ended up going with someone else. I was not able to get back any of our cost. This new company has a design studio where you can view 3D property and make real time changes. They also hand delivered our HOA application. Within 2 weeks they are already halfway through the demo, it is just a different level of service. I wish I had done more research in the beginning.

We should have done this YEARS ago! We hired Landcraft Studio to help us with our backyard remodel. I can tell you we LOVE our new backyard and are very proud to host people. Our backyard was 1/2 court basketball and swimming pool, all concrete and no green, no warmth, and Danny and Drew made it beautiful. They resurfaced our pool, retiled it, added a beautiful hot tub (that the teens love), and were able to save the original coping and save us money. They rerouted a gas line for our new firepit and planted beautiful landscaping to help make our yard inviting. Probably my favorite part of our new backyard is the way I can now sit on our new cozy furniture and hear the birds chirping each morning. Drew is AMAZING at designing. And Danny does a fab job keeping the crew working on schedule. ALSO LOVE their foreman Tony. You have to understand, when it comes to home or backyard remodel, it is a discussion and a process and you have to trust the direction of experienced folks. We had a few delays from the city, but that was more about the city than it was Landcraft. Our original owners did not permit some of the backyard and Landcraft went to bat for us! The only thing I would change is that I wish our pool motor was quieter. But otherwise, I'm so very happy and it was worth every penny.

We retained Landcraft to design and perform the construction to replace our front yard, back yard and pool. Landcraft did great work. Was very responsive to all questions. The contractors did great work. Our back and front yards are beautiful.

I can't say enough good things regarding the team from Landcraft Studio. After interviewing several landscape architects and companies I choose Landcraft because they provided everything I needed to complete my project. Landcraft was sensitive to my budget, started and finished on time. When concerns developed both during and after completion of the project they were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. I am planning on some additional work at my home in the near future. I will not even consider using anyone else other then Landcraft.

From start to finish, Landcraft was top notch. The design was beautiful, the execution was excellent, they achieved my goals for aesthetics and water conservation, and they stayed 100% within the budget we agreed to. My yard is beautiful and will be enjoyed for years to come. I highly recommend them.

Landcraft Studio is an amazing company! We were so happy with Danny and Drew. They are a wonderful team!! I highly recommend them any landscaping needs you have!

The guys have come through and helped us with the pots that were defective and we are getting new pots! so I can endorse them as good landscaping designers.

We are thrilled with the final result of our project. Drew and Danny thoughtfully interpreted all the items on our 'wish list" into our impossibly small, little postage stamp size townhouse garden- creating a lovely sunken seating area, water feature, BBQ area and lounge area. They also were helpful to find solutions to stay within our budget. I was amazed at the synchronization of the various teams needed. Well choreographed, arrived on time, and completed the job ahead of schedule. Danny or Drew were always available if needed. Which was rare. The process was fun. Can you imagine? Would hire LCS again and recommend to friends in a heartbeat.

Working with Landcraft Studio to create our dream backyard was so much fun! They are so creative, thoughtful and a pure joy to work with. Their vision and attention to detail is impeccable. They are genuinely good people that make the process of such a grand project, less daunting. The people that work with them are incredible. Everyone is so professional and just truly amazing. My backyard turned out even better than my husband and I imagined possible. Couldn't love these guys more! Thanks for everything Danny and Drew!!!

We highly recommend Danny and Drew. They were both wonderful to work with on our project. Our front and side yards aren’t very big and they optimized the space. Their ideas were innovative, modern, and fresh. Within their company, Danny and Drew handle the designs and Tony handles and supervises the construction. Also, they have a landscaper with the company. Having everyone within the same company was extremely valuable in that we dealt with one company throughout all the stages of our project. Danny and Drew were responsive when we had questions (which were often) and were very patient with us. If we had another project in the future, we would definitely hire them.

Professional service from start to finish of the project. We started with conceptual plan followed by detailed plan for the HOA which was approved with the first submission. We really like the design presented to us. In addition, Drew and Danny were very receptive with what we would like for our backyard and incorporated our ideas in their design as well. The entire backyard project duration was about 8 weeks as quoted. The project could have finished sooner but we had almost 2 weeks delay due to the rain. We had multiple communications from Danny informing us what we would expect during different phases of the project. In addition, we could easily approach the foreman for hardscape or landscape if we had any questions on the spot. The hardscape and landscape crew were hardworking. They cleaned up after each work day which we really appreciated. The quality of work was excellent. We definitely will enjoy the backyard for many years to come.

Dan and Drew did a great job working with us to design our dream side yard. Any questions we had along the way were quickly answered and plans adjusted if need be. We didn't have a lot of square footage to work with, but they were able to accommodate all of our "wants" in a very small space without anything feeling too cluttered. We love the way everything turned out and will continue to enjoy their work for years to come.

After meeting with three landscape architecture/design firms, we are grateful to have chosen Landcraft Studio. It is pure joy to be working with Danny and Drew. Their vision, skill, and professionalism far exceed our expectations. We’ve just received their custom design full package and are thrilled with what they created. I highly recommend Landcraft Studio!! Drew's creative design work is truly remarkable. He can take a plain and void area and amazingly transform it into something that is esthetic, distinctive and functional. He is a real talent. Both Danny and Drew deliver on their design by providing the highest quality hardscaping and landscaping work. It has been a real pleasure dealing with them and we are so pleased with the outcome of our project.

Drew designed an amazing back yard for me in 2005. He created a unique, classy, and warm entertaining area that looks absolutely stylistically current 13 years later. When I go to a 4 Seasons Hotel or a comparable 5 Star Hotel it is a down grade, no joke. I can't believe how gorgeous and timeless my yard (perpetual staycation) is!! Everything is 1st rate, the Jacuzzi, the pool, the soft seating, the outdoor kitchen, the fireplace, the pergola, ... He uses his knowledge of plant colors and textures to create beautiful environments. The views out from my house into my yard are stunning. Thank you Drew!!!

We completed our custom home in February of 2018 and our favorite part is of the landscaping. Drew was able to create a beautiful and cohesive design that incorporated all of the areas we wanted without compromising the flow of our yard. Our home has been published three different times and the backyard is always at the for front, as our home wraps around the pool and outdoor space. Even though it's been five years since our home was completed the design is still current and timeless. I have since changed some of the interior furniture and Drew and Danny helped me refresh my yard. I wouldn't do a project without them. They are truly the best! Robin Strickler
