We were impressed on our initial meeting how you came up with several potential low cost options to achieve our design goals. That helped us have confidence that you would be a good person to partner with when we decided to move forward with a much more ambitious and expensive version of the project. You came up with several ideas to significantly improve functionality as well as aesthetics, resulting in a better design than we could have come up with if we relied on our own ideas. You also frequently came up with ideas to reduce costs, which we appreciated even as the scope of the project increased. Dawn Christine and her team solved a complex design challenge we have for a 75 year old historic house which we last renovated 30 years ago. The plans include creating an indoor/outdoor structure for our rear patio, extending our music/dining room, redoing our bathroom, creating a walk-in closet, extending the bedroom to include a screened in porch and adding a two car garage. Dawn created a beautiful 3-D schematic/video of our current house and the proposed renovations. The added good news is the design allows us to phase the project as our desires and budget allow. We hired Dawn to help us with an attic build-out into a teen suite. We were struggling with a large open space and how to design it to encompass the needs/uses we wanted for the space. Dawn did a small job for us - a screen porch addition on an older home. We needed an existing draft updated and some detail added to it. It was a smaller engagement, so I feared not being able to get attention in it. The site meeting was set up within a few days, and she quickly established that she was the right choice. She made some major changes to the draft we had, and we ended up with a better project. She returned the drawings to us on time, met with us and the contractor and explained everything fully. The drawings exceeded the requirements we had put on her, including extra views and design ideas. She even included suggested furniture placement. When I talked to her, she told me they were quick and they were good. I was afraid quick and good may not go together, but she made it work. Quick, good and right on budget. She'll be my first stop should I need an architect again.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Dawn for our remodel/addition plans! She is professional, patient, and very pleasant to work with. We have an old-school ranch, and wanted to add more space while keeping it one level and not looking like an obvious addition. Dawn offered suggestions we hadn't even thought of. We are currently working on a large renovation project that Dawn has designed. As a long standing General Contractor we have worked with many Architects and Dawn has proven to us to be a top tier professional in all areas. Original as built plans matched correctly in existing field conditions and conceptual designs are also sufficiently crafted and all details communicated in a professionally manor.

Dawn was asked to architect and design a 5 phase remodel for us. The planning portion of the project was quite extensive and ran from fall of 2016 into spring of 2017. When faced with the realization that quality care from "institutional" memory care facilities for my mother-in-law was absent from our area, we looked inward--literally. Dawn had amazing design ideas for our kitchen and outdoor patio space. She listened to our goals for these important areas of our home and offered solutions which we had not even considered. She created detailed computer renderings which were extremely helpful throughout the process. She was upbeat, patient and determined to get the best outcome for us.
