We sought Mink Home Styling's help to prepare our house for sale in a tough market. This involved Deb meeting with us initially to discuss our needs, what we were trying to achieve and the time frame. Deb was very accommodating of our desire to retain some of our own furniture pieces to manage our costs and was happy to design our styling around our existing furniture. She styled our house in a fashion sympathetic to our personalities while presenting our house in a way that would be appring to a broad range of potential buyers. Deb provided a cost breakdown for us and there was no deviation from this throughout the project. Everything happened in a very professional and smooth manner and we found it great to work with Deb. She communicated well at all times and was really lovely to work with. I engaged Mink Home Staging to style a renovation project consisting of a house and detached retreat in Capalaba, Queensland. My expectation was that styling would assist with a quicker sale and a higher price because it would help people to see how the property would work for them. I knew from my first experience of styling (in a different State), that the right furniture in the right place can make a room look not only more welcoming but also look bigger. From our very first conversation, Deb Lindner impressed me with the questions she asked me about the property itself, price bracket, likely buyers etc. During the initial site visit it was obvious that Deb has both great vision and the gift of describing what she envisages to the owner. In due course the property was ready to go on the market and Deb and her team worked their magic on both house and flat with furniture, soft furnishings, wonderful art work and lots of little extra touches that would help people to feel at home and want to live there. The first accolades came from the selling agents, who could hardly believe the transformation from empty shell to home sweet home. The next set of compliments came via feedback from prospective buyers, more than one of whom asked if they could buy the furniture! The end result was that the house was under contract within 9 days of the first open home and at a great price. I have since recommended Mink Home Staging to all my investor friends.
