Having worked with Arlene 15 years ago in our former home, we definitely had to have her design our new home that we purchased last year. We are thrilled with the outcome! Arlene took the time to get to know us, our style, and how we wanted to use each space in our home. She worked with us to find the perfect combination of high quality furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and colors that we will enjoy for years to come. Updating all the paint colors from brown to neutral new carpeting, and window treatments set the stage for all the new furnishings. We are now onto finishing the basement for our next project!

I am so excited about my new living room design. Arlene advised me every step of the way and she completely transformed the room. She took into consideration how we would use the room and it all came together so beautifully. I especially appreciated how much fun we had while we were envisioning possibilities and her eye for color. The drapery, light fixture, wall color, furniture and even the littlest details of the accent pillow colors, which pulled in the colors from the adjoining room, were perfect. It's now my favorite room in the house. Arlene has an amazing talent for both color and style. I would highly recommend Arlene and her entire team at Design Connection!

Our home has been expertly transformed from darker muted tones to a joyfully bright and now more expansive looking space thanks to Arlene and her talented team. We could not have undertaken this project without Arlene's creativity and experience. Her ideas on ways to open up the space visually and lighten up the color scheme have made us feel like we've moved into a brand new home. No matter the topic, from lighting solutions to paint, carpet, tile, wood flooring as well as furnishings, Arlene knew just what to do - personally I'd still be stuck on picking a paint color! With all the contractors involved, this project would have been impossible for us to manage on our own, but even in the midst of the pandemic, our project was well coordinated and went very smoothly. Thank you to Arlene, Dana and all of the Design Connection team for listening and leading us through our home transformation - we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Amazing! As someone who does not have an eye for design, I knew that I would be happy with any look. But I am blown away by Arlene and her team. Arlene was always willing to work around my crazy schedule. Rather than push her style, she listened to my preferences and worked them into the design to make everything cohesive. Pam in the office and Bailey the project manager were in constant communication. I knew I could trust the whole team and also appreciated the weekly updates. They paid attention to every last detail to make my home feel luxurious. They were true professionals and respectful of my concerns. I am in love with my new home and saying thank you just doesn't seem enough!

This is the second time we have used the services at Design Connection, Inc.. As usual they did a fantastic job. Arlene and her project manager Dana have a great eye for a beautiful room and for the tiniest details that make the room great. One of their best strengths is in the ability to coordinate all the variety of workers to get the job done and hold them accountable for an excellent product. By the way we felt comfortable with all the contractors they sent our way. Their follow up is great and they don't leave anything undone. We love our renewed home.

There are not enough words to express how well this project was handled. Design connection decorated and renovated my condo from the ground up, helping select all the furniture, accessories and color palette. All their contractors were excellent and their management of the project was very professional and well done. In addition, they were just the nicest people to work with. We recently built our first new home and wanted to make sure the flow of colors, design style and furniture were cohesive throughout the house. We met with Arlene Ladegaard and took a leap of faith to work with Arlene and her team. The Design Connection team helped us choose paint colors, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, tile, floor color, carpeting, and furniture for the main living area. They also provided design help with cabinetry and our wine cellar as well as many other elements that needed to be coordinated with the builder. After twenty years in our home we decided to update our primary living areas. Arlene and her team at Design Connections helped us transform our tired deco into a vibrant living space. We remodeled our kitchen, redecorated our powder room, dining room and living room. New hardwood floors were added to our dining room and all the older floors were refinished. Arlene was able to make sure we have maximum seating in our hearth room and kitchen area since we have many children and grandchildren . Of all the interior designers I have worked with during the past 50 years, Design Connection team was by far the most organized. We received a detailed schedule of who and when each sub contractor would be working in our home. The sub contractors always left our home picked up when they finished each day. Very professional work! I personally loved working with all the Design Connection team. They worked with my antique collection and made our living room look magazine perfect. Our new furniture in the kitchen area is more contemporary traditional featuring my favorite color...BLUE. I feel as if I moved to the ocean with this gorgeous kitchen.

Arlene and her team at Design Connection were great to work with. They listened to what we wanted to accomplish and delivered a new home we are excited to share with our friends and family. Arlene knew when to push for a good idea and when to listen and look for an alternative. Her balance kept us on task, but allowed us to help guide and be involved in the process. There is no way we could have handled the project without the assistance of the DC team especially with their on-site project management. It was a smooth experience, beautiful results and hopefully more to come.
