Installed flagstone over an existing concrete porch and replaced a paver walkway with flagstone. The owner of the company came out for the initial estimate which is a nice touch. In our 3 face to face meetings he arrived before the scheduled time. Unusual for this area. Job took about 3 days and turned out much better than I though it would. I'm very detail oriented and I was hard pressed to find any issues with the finished job. Outstanding quality. Would not hesitate to use again and would highly recommend him to anyone.

This project (removal of our wooden deck and replacement with a larger, very attractive Trex deck) was completed very professionally, at the agreed-upon cost and in an extremely timely manner. Some minor problems arose after the work was completed and they were immediately corrected by Distinctive Deck Designs. Highly recommend this company.

Thanks so much for your Excellent review. We discovered the Trex Railing insert had shrank over an inch since we installed the Deck and our Crew was out to replace the part at no cost to you. I have contacted Trex regarding the shrinkage on the Railing insert and will let them know the Black Color did shrink up over the past 6 months.

Mark and his team replaced a large 30+ year old wood deck with a new Trex deck with lighting. They moved an existing hot tub to a new location and constructed the new deck to accommodate it. We selected Mark's company because we liked his design concept better than other proposals we got, his price was reasonable, and he had a well-established track record of good reviews. Once work began, his team worked steadily to completion and finished in about a week. His team very good to work with, answered our questions as work progressed, and kept the worksite orderly. We have thoroughly enjoyed our new deck.

Distinctive Deck Designs was a joy having work for us. Their pricing was comparable to other bids. Their crews were professional, timely, neat, and receptive to questions and minor changes. We were kept well informed as to which trades would be on site each day and of schedule changes as adjustments were made for winter weather. Project included the removal of a large wooden deck. Couldn't be happier with the end result!

Distinctive designs fulfilled every obligation according to the contract. The work was completed two days before the estimated time for completion. They worked long days to make up for time lost due to rain. Touch up projects for the deck and the yard were timely and successful. I fully recommend Distinctive Designs for your project.

Of all the companies we consulted with for our deck, only Mark from Distinctive Deck Designs showed up with a design in mind to maximize the amount of deck for our yard for the best price. We did not know where to begin, so this was extremely helpful. They build only Tree decks, which is exactly what we wanted. Their knowledge of Trex and the building process is unparalleled. He also did not try to sell us, unlike other companies. I would highly recommend speaking with Mark and the rest of the crew at DDD for your deck (and patio) needs.

I highly recommend Distinctive Deck Design for your new deck or patio. From the moment we contacted him, Mark was very professional and helped us make decisions regarding the budget and design of our deck. He provided us with lots of samples and explained the pros and cons of each. He also gave us a lot of ideas and suggestions regarding design and how to save costs. I’ve had bad experiences with contractors who just don’t care but with Mark and his crew, I just sat back and knew that I was going to get something wonderful in the end. Mark and Distinctive Deck designs came recommended by a friend and for us this was a significant investment. Our deck was small and falling apart and after meeting with Mark he drew up plans for a beautiful new deck that is significantly larger. In addition, we tied the deck to a new stone paver patio running along the back of our home with a covered seating area. Given our home runs along the gas line, we have gotten lots of attention from neighbors praising the new additions. We cannot wait for it to warm up and put our new deck and patio to use. Throughout the process we found Mark's team to be professional, responsive and meticulous. Mark has put together a quality operation soup to nuts and I'd recommend them to others.
