Drost Landscape was founded in 1991 when Bob Drost and four others challenged the status-quo of landscape design, installation and management. Horrible!!! Sign a contract for 1K thinking you will get a reasonable bid and what you get is a totally outrageous proposal. Stay away!!!

I recommend hiring them only if you'll be present to keep an eye on them. Our job was small, not at all like the fancy jobs I see posted here but it was still important to us. We bought a house that had been neglected so wanted a fresh start on our beds. We hired Drost to remove everything, roots and all. However, we weren't here at the time so it wasn't until the foot plus of snow melted and the weather warmed up a bit that we could see that there are still a ton of things growing in the bed. I've now spent a couple hours digging up plants/roots that we thought we paid Drost to remove. Looks like their guys just cut everything off at the ground and threw some new dirt on there and a barely-there covering of mulch (that we'll have to add to this year). I called Justin who was on vacation at the time but a week and a half has now passed since he would have returned and I've heard nothing. So I'll deal with it myself and will not recommend them or use them again.

We used Drost's tree service to remove a dozen or so large trees prior to excavation. They were very responsive and reasonable. I would use them again.

We were in need of a metal handrail alongside several steps desending from our yard to the boat dock. We contacted Drost and they promptly came over to view the site and arranged for the work to be completed. We were very satisfied with the outcome.

We hired Drost to manage our Landscape after a complete home renovation. They did an excellent job with the design, planting, and maintenance. I would never consider using anyone else for any additional projects. Everyone..from the office staff, project managers, site designers, maintenance crews..are professional and super friendly. I never do reviews but I feel strongly enough about my relationship with Drost to write this one. They are a perfect example of "You get what you pay for"..

Excellent workmanship, professional, and timely. They did a difficult job for us re-stacking large boulders (rip rap) against our sea wall. Our water level is very elevated this season, so there was nothing easy about the job, especially getting their equipment in.

I found Drost through my General Contractor, Harsh General Building, Inc.. I had recently bought a home in Mecosta County, Mich. and needed an " A team" as i live for the most part in AZ and could not be there though out the project. When I was there, I got to meet Bob there several times along with his crew and project mngr. The house is on a lake and needed major landscape planning and construction along with the home itself, inside and out. Everything came out better than perfect. I have become friends with Bob and his crew and love Bobs expertise, jokes and stories! I chose well. They Also perform the fall and spring clean up maintenance, which is impeccable.
