I worked with Corey Jensen at Flooring Connections at the Bellingham location to help me with my new home. Corey was great to work with, and fun to collaborate with, Corey listened and understood my budget. He designed and ordered all my cabinetry and found the best pricing on quartz, flooring and tile for all the bathrooms. Corey helped me with all my plumbing and light fixtures as well as paint for both interior and exterior. Corey had installers to install everything perfectly. We worked with Corey to put in floors in our new house in Bellingham before we moved in. We had one thing in mind but when we took samples to the house, we didn't like any of them. While brainstorming ideas, Corey showed us a beautiful bamboo option that I would not have noticed on my own but it was the perfect choice. We were on a short deadline but they were able to make it work and the installers did an amazing job. One of my favorite things is the vent covers that match the flooring. The color match wasn't perfect the first time but Corey reordered and they look great! Through all of this, Corey was pleasant but also kind and easy to work with. I will definitely come back when it's time to buy area rugs.

Flooring Connections came into our home as a subcontractor hired by our general contractor to do some prep work on the subfloor and install engineered wood flooring in our basement. They weren’t even going to moisture test our concrete subfloor until we insisted, and then used a makeshift method that the flooring manufacturer would not accept. They did a poor job of leveling the subfloor, resulting in dips well outside of the manufacturer’s tolerance. Workers were late, rude, and arrived unprepared for the job (one worker unboxed a brand-new saw in our driveway and damaged several flooring pieces during install). Flooring Connections management inspected the site and declined to acknowledge or fix the issues and are refusing to reimburse us for the thousands of dollars we later spent to fix the problems. After we provided a report from an independent NWFACP-certified flooring inspector, Flooring Connections offered to pay less than half of our expenses, yet somehow still insisted they stood by their work. Ultimately, the liability for the work lies with our general contractor, who we have been fighting with for the last 9+ months to make this situation right. But, we are posting this review in case it’s helpful to other homeowners. If you must hire Flooring Connections, make sure you are knowledgeable about the installation requirements for the flooring you choose and give close supervision of the entire project, because Flooring Connections has not shown that they will complete jobs in a professional manner or fix their mistakes.

Flooring Connections in Anacortes offers good selection and pricing, and Cheryl Jacobs there is amazing! When overwhelmed with choices for our new construction home, she offered design advice and worked hard to track down alternatives for our vision. When the hardwood flooring was delayed until the last minute and arrived not looking like the sample, she came ready with solutions. Cheryl had already researched 3 similar styles with stock available and negotiated with manufacturers to get to our price point. She even offered us a full refund if we didn't like any of the alternatives to make it right. Though building during high inflation and supply chain issues has been challenging, Cheryl stood out as someone who actually cared.

We recently remodeled a home that had been thoroughly abused by careless owners and their multiple dogs. The people who worked magic converting our wreck of a home to.a dream home are Joe Zollman, contractor, and Christina McGhee, project manager with Flooring Connections in Anacortes, WA. Joe is a talented finish carpenter who surrounds himself with subcontractors who measure up to his standards. Plus, he was always present on the job, supervising and working on each phase of construction. Christina masterminded scheduling & record keeping, ordered materials, and coordinated with us and Joe to keep the project running smoothly. We have remodeled several homes throughout the years, but thanks to Christina and Joe, this was the easiest, most successful one ever. We highly recommend both Christina and Joe.

Christina McGhee with Flooring Connections is an excellent project manager. She brought talented resources to the table for our Anacortes kitchen remodel, managing them along the way. From flooring contractors, to carpenters, tile crews and all she skillfully wove them in to finish our project in a timely manner. The finished kitchen is beautiful: very open, functional and light-filled. Having Flooring Connections showroom to select materials was also very helpful. Once she measured and saw the sight, we met there and easily picked out cabinets, counters, tile, carpeting and all. Being able to see samples of everything made the whole process go more quickly.

We were blindsided by an extensive remodel project in our master bathroom (rot under the tile shower floor that spread throughout). It required an entire tear-out and rebuild. We chose to update the master bedroom at the same time. To compound it, we discovered this rut in February, 2020, just prior to the COVID outbreak. We were desperate to get moving on all of our selections. We connected with Christina from Flooring Connections and knew we were in good hands. She come over, saw what we were working with and came up with amazing design recommendations. (We were very respectful of the COVID restrictions, so this complicated the process a bit.) Christina was very attentive, very knowledgeable about products (what would work or not work) and we loved her suggestions. We ended up purchasing most of our products from Flooring Connections and couldn't be happier with the quality, their service and we absolutely love how our project turned out! I highly recommend them for any design work or interior materials for any home project! I would definitely use Flooring Connections again!

Flooring Connections installed new flooring and a bathroom vanity for us and we are quite pleased with the results. The contractors they used were attentive to detail and very knowledgeable of their trade. Our contact at Flooring Connections, Christina, was pleasant to work with and responded timely to our inquires. She offered different options for our bathroom vanity and understood the budget we working with to find the right fit for style and budget. We couldn't be more pleased with our recent remodel through Flooring Connections. Christina came to our home, measured all spaces, recommended possibilities on design, and then worked with our contractor, Joe Zollman, to schedule and coordinate subcontractors. Christina & Joe make a great team! Joe was methodical and precise in his work, and he oversaw his team of favorite subcontractors who were all professional, excellent craftsmen. Through the years, we have completed three major remodels in previous homes, and we count this remodel as our best yet--in spite of having to deal with Covid restrictions. We are now thoroughly enjoying our beautifully remodeled home!

Flooring Connections worked with my wife and me to select our carpeting, vinyl wood flooring. tile, countertops, backsplash and cabinets for our new home. Their involvement was more of an interior design function. They gave advice on colors, types of materials and cost. They did a great job combining design versus cost. We ended up with a beautifully color coordinated interior for a cost that we could afford.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The subcontractor we hired for our home remodeling recommended I go to Flooring Connections International for our tile (floor and back splash) selection. There is a vast variety available to choose from and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sally Z. was my point of contact; she was very professional and personable. Absolutely Amazing job. Christina routinely went above and beyond to help get my house ready to go. She was super easy and flexible to work with via phone, text or email and kept me up to date on how things were progressing and the status of the shipment. Even months after the job was complete she was still great to work with to get a replacement piece of trim and ensured it matched and was installed correctly.

We worked with Christina McGhee and Flooring Connection with excellent results on two projects at our home. We completely remodeled our kitchen with advice from Christina. Her design worked very well, the installers were very professional and the job was completed on schedule. The kitchen gets lots of compliments and has added great value to our home. We also added a kitchenette and very nice luxury vinyl floor to an in-law suite again with the help of Christina and with products from Flooring Connection. And again we were not disappointed with the design, installation, products and it was finished in a reasonable timeframe. They have quality products that enhanced the beauty and value of our home. Our first experience with Flooring connections took place in late summer 2018, they baled us out of a bad situation when flooring supplied thru another company couldn’t be laid due to uneven floors. Unfortunately our filler floor was particle board and couldn’t be used with leveling compounds. Not only did they come up with a superior product that would work, they moved their schedule around to lay the floors the same week. Because of that experience we decided to have them bid on our upcoming kitchen remodel, we were introduced to Christina McGhee who specialized in this area. We had her bid on our requirements and the bid price was competitive with others received. With all factors considered we elected to go forward with her proposal. Christina handled the project with a high degree of professionalism in addition to making it an enjoyable experience. The subcontractor that installed the cabinets and oversaw the project did an outstanding job. We had a couple minor issues with the counter top supplier but it worked out with mutual satisfaction. We would definitely recommend doing business with this company and will be contacting Christina if we decide to go forward. With any future project.

Christina found the perfect carpet to withstand the expected wear we will have and within our budget. Steve's installation was excellent. Flooring Connections has done several projects for us and we have been very pleased with all of them.

Worked with the manager Brian, who was very helpful and excited about my project. Despite leaving several messages, waited 10 days and never got a call back from the "installer" to finish my order.

The entire process was overall smooth, however, when issues did come up they were so professional and understanding of our preferences. Found Flooring Connection when looking for kitchen back splash. They had a good supply of different tiles and were very helpful picking out types of tiles and color. We decided to have them do our Master bathroom. Over all very pleased with the look. A couple glitches, but the owner and Christina M, who was great to work with, did and are taking care of them.
