Fogleman Associates, Inc

Home was supposed to be completed end of April. It is now November, and we are still waiting for things to be wrapped up. Poor communication throughout the build. Project manager did not update us, and we were never given his contact information. After I sent emails and texts, some out of complete frustration, they had the nerve to tell me “obviously, I can’t be pleased, and I’m rude and hateful” Not very professional. I don’t recommend Fogleman for your builder.

My husband and I looked at many homebuilders before choosing Fogleman associates for our new construction. The main reason we chose them was the overall quality of the work and the beautiful homes they build in our neighborhood. We initially disregarded Fogleman because their model did not have an island in the kitchen, a must have feature in our new home. After meeting Van Fogleman, we learned that they could build what ever we wanted, by tweaking an existing floor plan or creating a new floor plan. We were sold. Working with the Foglemans, Van and Jana, turned out to be an enjoyable experience. What initially seemed like a daunting task, choosing every single aspect of the build, with too many choices, was made easier by their tried and tested formula. They break down each aspect of the house build into manageable sections, and then put it all together, and before you know it you have a unique house built to your specifications. From the beginning we knew what the budget was, it was up to us to stay within the budget. We could choose where to splurge and where to save. If you want a house in 6 months Fogleman are not for you, there are builders that can do that, but don’t expect the same quality or attention to detail. We knew from the beginning the time line was 9-12 months, and they delivered. We have been in our house for 2 months now; our neighbors have commented that the Fogleman’s know how to build a quality home. They would know; they have watched the build from the ground up. On meeting Mickey Fogleman (owner and president) he promised us we were going to love our new house, and Mickey, you were right. We have no regrets. We love our new house. It is beautiful inside and out, now it is up to us to make it a home.

When we selected Fogleman Associates for the construction of our home we were very happy to hear the incredible feedback from every neighbor or new home owner about the quality of their work. There are always stories about individual experiences with different builders, but there were no such stories from the many Fogleman home buyers. We are very happy in our new Fogleman home and appreciate their commitment to quality and to insuring our satisfaction with our new home. They were very helpful during the design discussion offering thoughts on ways to enhance the design and beauty of the home as well. Vann Fogleman and his foreman were especially helpful and responsive to questions or concerns during construction. When we had a plantation shutter company come to our home to measure for the shutter install they were relieved to hear it was a Fogleman home because they knew the lines would be perfect and shutter measurement and construction would be easy without rework due to the quality of Fogleman construction. Fogleman would not progress construction unless their preferred vendors were available to insure high quality production and craftsmanship. Fogleman has stood behind its product as well and is noted for its close out of one year checklist items.

Fogleman Associates is one of the approved builders in Brunswick Forest. They worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Rather than building another "model" home, we have what we need and what we want and the quality is superior. Our home was finished on time and within the contracted budget. Any overages were items that we chose to add. We were able to select everything for our home from the brick, colors, tile, appliances, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting, trim, windows, doors, hardware, trees, plants, etc with the help of knowledgeable local companies who work with our builder. Their advice and professionalism was outstanding! Fogleman Associates has a reputation of being a top notch quality builder. Having a sound, safe, energy efficient home in retirement is invaluable. We are so glad that we chose Fogleman to build our last home.
