Francois Jantzen is the Owner / Architect / Interior Designer of Modoo Modoo. He specializes in creative architectural and interior design solutions in response to each client's needs and site-generated issues. We have had the privilege of working with Francois and his team for many years on several of his projects. Each of his projects have their own unique sensibility that Francois works very hard to achieve with great attention to detail being his main concern. Francois creates well-tailored and thought-out designs, which offer his clients not only functional spaces and the many layers of decor items that go with it (furniture / bedding / draperies and other window coverings, etc.) while at the same time always keeping them design award-worthy. We admire his fabulous, luxurious, elegant design projects. It is always stimulating to translate his incredible creativity. His personality and immense talent makes the collaboration with him a wonderful and fun experience always renewed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Francois on a big project in Newport Beach and he is an amazing professional. He has a great sense of details and an exceptional vision. It was a joy and a delight working with him and hope that I will have the chance to work with him again on many future projects. I highly recommend Francois to anyone who is looking for an outstanding interior designer!

I bought a house a year ago in culver city. Francois was highly recommended by some people I know. I hired him to renovate a couple of things in the house and help me design some of the bedrooms. Not only he s incredibly talented but he s patient, understanding and flexible. He works within your schedule and your budget. I highly recommend him.

I have worked on several residential properties with Francois, from 2004 to the present. He is thoughtful, responsive and gets along well with my workers. His pricing is reasonable, and he comes in within budget. But Francois's greatest strength is his creativity and vision -- he is a true artist with an exceptional sense of aesthetics. Francois designed my kitchen, which is in a Craftsman style. He helped with the Carrera marble countertops, the Italian rose floor tiles, and a beautiful fleur de lis backsplash behind the stove in French cement tiles. Every time I see the backsplash it reminds me of Paris. I highly recommend Francois, and would use him again on a project.

I bought an old house that had to be entirely renovated and also extended to add more rooms. I hired Francois and we worked closely on everything. His ideas were brilliant both in terms of space arrangement and aesthetics. He came up with rather unique design for the bathrooms and the kitchen that are always essential to the value of a house. He helped me think outside the box when it came to colors and finally decorating the house, that ended up being a brand new one. Since the project ended, Francois has been very helpful and he has provided me generously with ideas on how to implement further improvements with the interior and the exterior of the house. I recommend him highly and I feel fortunate to have met him and work with him.

Francois worked on several my family projects - my house, my daughter and my son's houses. Our family is very pleased with his work. He proved to be very talented, efficient, responsible and honest person. We completely remodeled my and my daughter's houses, my son's house was renovated, and Francois provided very valuable consulting services for him. He gets along with people very well, he is well educated and is fun to work with.

Francois Jantzen, from Modoo Modoo interior design, hired us last year for this incredible Designer Showcase at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. Francois designed four of the main rooms where he showed an amazing talent for creating a beautiful and still very personable environment, while managing a huge team of vendors, craftsmen and artists like myself. Francois' designs are very creative and still very livable. His passion for details, colors and his vast decorative knowledge makes him one of a kind designer. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Ever since we hired modoo modoo interior design for one of our first projects over eight years ago, we consistently consult with Francois on all of our developments. Francois saves us not just budget-wise, but he saves us with superior product results. Our current 18 town home project in West LA is nearly sold out and a great part of its success is due to Francois' fully functional floor plan modifications. From complete makeover of tightly spaced floor plans to au courant iron gate designs to stunning model staging, Francois has always improved our projects where custom assistance is called for. It's always a successful experience working with modoo modoo interior design, as it basically takes only an initial meeting for Francois to achieve on-target sketches and impeccable texture and color ideas. We give modoo modoo interior design our highest recommendation for your next project!

I have hired this company several times over that last several years. I am extremely happy with their work. Francois is very responsive and has great taste and excellent design ideas. He always designs with cost and practical aspects in mind. I continue to work with him on existing and new projects.
