Excellent Job Garen, Chuck et.al on my master bath and my lower bathroom - both have exceeded my expectations and you are all a delight to work with on any project....as I mentioned I would love to have you on "retainer".... your work is impeccable.

We had a major home remodeling project which resulted from broken water pipes last winter. It was our good fortune to learn of Hawthorn Development Group and Garen Johnson. We initially contacted Garen by email and his reply was prompt and very reassuring-a huge ‘plus’ for me! Our first meeting provided us with valuable information and great confidence that this was going to be a wonderful working relationship. Garen and his crew consistently arrive on time, are meticulously neat and clean, do beautiful work and show great attention to detail. They listened to us with regard to our selection of materials and colors and offered great ideas as well. I enthusiastically recommend Hawthorn Development Group and Garen Johnson for any project.

Hawthorn Development Group worked with us to redesign an outdated Master Bath. We had a very specific aesthetic we were going for and Garen and team took the time to listen and to help source the materials to realize our vision. The workmanship was great and we are very pleased with the outcome. I have referred Hawthorn Development to colleagues and friends, something I do not do lightly.

Garen and his team have done numerous projects in my home, from built-ins to a beautiful screen porch that has become our favorite room in the house! Garen is the "un-contractor." He shows up on time, always has a creative solution, over-delivers value, communicates well, works neat, cleans up better than our cleaning lady, and delivers excellence on every project. We recommend Garen to all our family and friends without hesitation.

I've been working with Garen as a supplier for over 20-years now. I love working with Garen because he is very respectful of both, his customers and me as his supplier. Which includes, lumber & building materials, decking products, windows, exterior entry doors, siding, and interior trim & doors. There are times when things don't go as planned, and Garen is always very professional and we worked out the quickest and best solution for every given situation. I would without hesitation have Garen do work on my home, and hopefully that happens soon as we are planning to move & remodel later next year when my daughter graduates from hs.

Hawthorn Development Group built a screened porch off the back of our house. The entire experience was outstanding. The finished product is beautiful. Communication throughout the project was timely and accurate. All work was done on time and with a high level of professionalism. We could not have been happier with Hawthorn Development Group. We plan to contract with Garen for future projects at our home and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hard working, reliable company that does high quality work.

We have had the Hawthorn Group do several projects in our home. They have finished our basement, re-done two of our bathrooms, as well replace all the interior doors in our home. They have done an excellent job. I highly recommend this company. One of the definite positives of this company is that I felt safe with the employees in the home even when I wasn't there. Very trustworthy. The owner is great to work with and has great ideas to help me get things just the way I want them. Very creative and knowledgeable. Completed work is excellent!! Give them a call!

Garen updated our 1960 ranch entryway, living room, dining room and powder room. We put in new base boards, doors, windows, slider, fresh paint, refinished the ole tired hardwood floors and replaced the tile flooring. Our biggest project was one he suggested to us immediately, take our flat eight foot ceiling and make it a cathedral ceiling. We never thought of making such a change. It is beautiful! He is excellent at listening to his customers, offering suggestions and going forward in the direction the customer wants.

Professional, detail oriented, punctual, "a true craftsman that can think on his feet" to make any project move along without stress. Garen is honest, realistic and sincere about the entire scope of the project right from the start...very refreshing in today's market. We have worked together on several projects, including a major reno of my own home, with 4 kids in the house...he kept everything running like clock work. Great team of industries pro's are in his sub-contract roster as well. A true artist, he can even advise on the art and photography for your new walls. I have complete trust in this company working on any design project of mine.
