Natalie is creative, organized, reliable, and brings amazing energy to her projects. Natalie designed a very natural landscape for the rolling, rocky lot on which we've built a modern, net zero house. She understood immediately what we were trying to achieve, and suggested appropriate and beautiful land contours, plantings, and meadow mixes. The landscape contractor whom she found for us was also top-rate and responsive.

I have been working with Natalie since September last year on the redesign of my mid-century modern garden in Lexington MA. I interviewed 4 landscape architects in the process of deciding on the best fit. She was the only one who was willing to have me actively involved in the planting process, so that I could build out the landscape over many seasons as opposed to an instant gratification process. I have truly loved working with Natalie. I come from a design background, and have strong opinions about likes and dislikes, as well as the approach to the design and build process. Yet, she was still willing to work with me. We started the rehabilitation process of the garden late last year working with a landscape crew that she recommended. I was then able to start with a clean slate this spring with the planting. The final design is easy to work with, and Natalie has given me the confidence to try new things where necessary. She was wonderful in giving me details on the best places to order seedlings, and how to time the planting over the spring and summer. We are barely a 1/4 of the way into the planting process and already I have numerous people stopping to talk about how wonderful the garden is looking. It has totally transformed the house. This will indeed be a slow work in process. I have decided to do all of the planting myself, except for some of the larger trees. So far I have planted over 500 ground cover seedlings with many more to come over the coming weeks. That said, there is nothing better than being able to enjoy the fruits of your labor in working with one of the best designers I have had the pleasure of meeting. Throughout the process, Natalie made sure to include all members of the family to ensure she had a better understanding of how we live, play and relax in the garden. She took all our needs into consideration, as well as the fact that I wanted to do most of the work, but not be a slave to it - therefore low maintenance was also important. Even during brief moments of disagreement, Natalie and I were able to argue our points and decide on the best option forward. Price was a factor, and Natalie was able to work within our budget. I look forward to working with Natalie over the next couple of years, and am loving every moment of my wonderful surroundings.

Natalie worked with me to design beautiful, low maintenance landscaping including stonework (walls and paths), a playscape, and beds of flowers and shrubs. She listened carefully to my objectives and added her deep knowledge and experience to create a lasting environment which has matured well and continues to provide joy and beauty.

I am extremely happy with the herbal garden that Natalie installed for the Boston School of Herbal Studies. She brings a wonderful esthetic sense and great depth of understanding about plants (including edible and medicinal) as well impressive technical expertise. I loved her recommendations for medicinal bushes and small trees. A year later, it is a pleasure see healthy plants growing in expertly constructed raised beds. Everything she touches becomes beautiful. Natalie also installed an extensive irrigation system. She is a consummate professional who is truly delightful to work with, meets her deadlines and keeps to the budget. Natalie has been an amazing partner in our landscaping, helping us to focus our vision, and adding valuable insights at every step of the process. We have especially appreciated her ability to help us make two properties with serious issues more usable and beautiful. At our first home on a small odd-shaped lot in Arlington, her design reinvented the front of our house, and added greatly to curb appeal when we sold 2 years later. Now she's helping us to phase in a garden design on a neglected lot bordering a wetland. The new project has just started, but we already feel more at home now that the first native plantings are in. Natalie is an incredible resource for installing edible plants and herbs and integrating them into beautiful gardens. She understands the importance of horticulture and soil building, which is critical to creating lower maintenance landscapes that consume less water and require less ongoing care. We have been colleagues for over 10+ years. Because of her depth of knowledge, I have brought her into our landscape architecture office to educate our staff on edible landscapes and soil specifications.

I am a installation contractor who worked with Natalie, she is great to work with, her designs are very good and her knowledge of landscape design is excellent.
