Chris and Roy built our house with care and excellence. When we had questions or concerns, prompt answers were provided. If we ever build again, We will be using Chris and Roy without a doubt. I think that says it all.

Roy and Chris were extremely easy to work with throughout the entire design and building process. They listened to our families needs and delivered everything we wanted in a house. I am confident that if anything comes up as an issue with our home (even after 2 years of us living here), they will make it right. They are true professionals and I would recommend them to anyone who's wanting to build their dream home!

I live in a very nice neighborhood and have wonderful neighbors. Since I am a widow, this is very important to me, A word of advice, before closing on an home, allocate 20k to go into escrow to cover costs the builder does not complete or repair. I was left with a rotting, leaking roof and water going behind the siding and stone. This started nine months after moving in. With pictures and phone calls that problems were present. HBC and Miller Roofing never took care of the problem. I had to hire someone else to replace the roofing and rotting wood. In addition, the siding and soffit were not completely painted or caulked, and outside door facings began peeling within weeks of moving in. The cabinet doors were sparsely painted and not all four edges were painted. The painter commented he was not paid enough for the job. The builder and I signed this "punch list" stating I would not add additional items to the list and she would do the repairs. However, she did not follow through with the repairs. I paid to have some upgrades to my home, but did not inquire if proper installation was additional. Roy came over to see what was on the punch list and stated "I was to picky and I should of paid more if I wanted a perfect house". Upon investigation, many awards are created by the builders themselves.

Purchased new home in Woodneath Farms subdivision. Home is well built and meeting all expectations. Contractor has been a pleasure to work with and has been very prompt in addressing those new home "fixes".

We were the most impressed with the design and build quality of the houses by Homes By Chris of all the new houses we viewed when selecting our recent home purchase. We concluded our search with the purchase of a Homes by Chris home which had been a model and we fell in live with wen first viewed. During the sales and closing process they were attentive to questions and worked with us on a desired deck expansion which was completed on schedule by closing. Since our purchase and 3 months after moving in, we continue to be pleased with the quality of their product having only 1 need for service review which their team was very timely in responding to and resolving.

Chris and Roy were very professional and courteous to work with. They listened to our ideas and concerns and did their best to accommodate us. We love our custom home. It is everything we wanted and more. They are nice honest people that we have enjoyed working with and we would recommend them to anyone.

We came to Homes By Chris with an idea for a custom home that was not one they had built before and was in a neighborhood that they hadn't built in before. They were 100% on board and jumped in with both feet! From the first meeting, Chris and Roy always listened to our ideas while still providing their expertise. This was a collaborative effort that was not only enjoyable but stress free from the beginning. Both Chris and Roy were very responsive and always available when we had questions or wanted to meet. They hire the best sub contractors who are very trustworthy and who do amazing work. We are more than 100% satisfied with the quality of the house they built which came in on budget and in a quicker time frame than we had expected. The quality of their work is the best in the business but what we appreciate even more is that they are great people who were a complete joy to work with!

Working with a designer to choose colors and fixtures made the entire process very simple, and the result is stunning. We had looked at MANY homes in both Kansas and Missouri and didn't find the quality we were looking for until we met Chris. Highlights: quality construction, high-end finishes, great floor plan, thoughtful design/functionality throughout the home, attention to detail, responsiveness to our family's needs and desires. We chose Homes by Chris to build our dream home after admiring their amazing Parade of Homes entries over the last few years. This is the first home that we have built versus bought and I can honestly say the experience has been great! Chris, Roy and their team are absolutely wonderful to work with! They have spent a great deal of time with us going over designs to make sure our home is exactly what we want. They let us know the timelines up front and also walked us through the various stages of the build so we knew what to expect. Their attention to detail is unbelievable and you can tell they take pride in the craftsmanship of their homes. Every room has a unique design element, whether it be in the trim carpentry or the materials used. Not only is the visual design beautiful, but Homes by Chris makes sure everything from the foundation to what is inside the walls is the highest quality as well. They stay current on all of the latest technologies that are available in the industry. If we ever build another house or decide to remodel, we would definitely choose to work with HBC again!
