Jennifer and Jeff were our first and only choice for our remodel project. The style/aesthetic compatibility was evident in our first meeting and bolstered by further review of their project portfolio. They took our (poorly) drawn ideas and brought them to life with exciting new concepts and visualizations to help us finalize our decision on the layout of the kitchen and bathroom. Not only was this beneficial from a design standpoint, but it really made the project more efficient. From being able to hand the contractors the exact dimensions and layout for each room, to being able to spend more time focusing on things like selecting tile, paint colors, countertops, appliances and so forth. After more than a yearlong remodel process and many, many experiences along the way, Herron Horton still remains the best decision we made. The project was so successful our house has been in 2 local publications and a national publication (Atomic Ranch). We still keep in touch with Jennifer and Jeff, they are not only great professionals, they are great people! Thanks Jennifer and Jeff.

Jennifer and Jeff came highly recommended, and we certainly were not disappointed. We wanted to build our last home on a river, and we had specific ideas in mind. After our initial interview, we threw aside our ideas and turned the process over to them. And they nailed it. They designed the perfect home for us with attention to all details. There was little for us to do other than try to patiently watch as it became reality. And with each step of the way, we were pleasantly surprised as it continued to exceed our expectations. They even worked directly with our builder to assure construction met their requirements. While we never intend to build a primary home again, we wouldn't hesitate to engage them if needed! They delivered everything they promised, and then some! In addition to being highly creative architects and designers, they are excellent mind readers. And most would tell you that we do not have simple minds! We love our little slice of tranquility!

Jeff and Jennifer are amazing! They understood exactly what we wanted and made it possible in a historic neighborhood and very restrictive are to build. They used the ideas we discussed to design and build for us a beautiful home that was in budget and on time! Not many custom built home owners can say that. Their style is clean, modern, highly functional and lasting. We are so grateful!

Herron Horton Architects listened to our needs and desires and designed a masterpiece. They are fun to work with and visionaries for the community. We would love to work with them again, but I can't imagine ever leaving this house, as they captured our every need. Our lot is in an historic district, so there were meetings and steps along the way that had to be approved by the city, and they were by our side at every turn. Time spent with them is a pleasure, and I would recommend them to design your dream home.

We worked with Jennifer and Jeff to remodel the kitchen and family room in our 1950s ranch house. The existing kitchen was small, with one window, and the laundry room was outside in the carport. They did an amazing job of enclosing the existing carport to expand the kitchen space, moving the laundry room inside the house, opening up entryways into adjoining rooms, and building a new carport. They always listened to our wants and ideas about the space and spent extra time working with us to find a perfect countertop when our first choice fell through. Thanks to Jeff and Jennifer's design knowledge the contemporary kitchen blends seamlessly into the rest of the more traditional ranch-style house. We love the end result and recommend Herron Horton without reservation.

I have worked with Herron Horton Architects on several projects over the years, and I am always amazed and impressed by their commercial and residential work. Not only are they a joy to work with they have an incredible understanding of design. Their use of materials, light (natural & practical), color, composition, and space is truly inspiring.

Jeff and Jennifer designed an amazing outdoor kitchen, wood working shop and outdoor fire pit for us. The kitchen has become a wonderful place to entertain and comes complete with a wood burning pizza oven as its center piece. The project was complicated by building onto an existing deck, but they handled the design easily. I would enthusiastically recommend them to others.

We hired Jennifer and Jeff to design and draw up plans to remodel our existing kitchen, living room and dining room into an open concept living space. Our previous kitchen was closed in with hanging upper cabinets, very little natural light and an 8 foot popcorn ceiling, while our dining space was just big enough for a six foot table. We never used our front living area since it was closed off from the kitchen and dining area and was very dark. Herron Horton used the limited square footage we have and designed an open concept layout with the interior walls dissecting these spaces removed, many more windows (including skylights) added and a vaulted ceiling finished with Arkansas cypress installed to help add light and a feeling of spaciousness. We love the results and we now spend our evening and weekend time together as a family in our kitchen and new living space. This is now our favorite space in the house and is very light and cozy. Herron Horton worked with us to get the exact look we wanted and to maximize the function of the limited space we have. They are believers in working closely with the client to use the materials (in our case, white cabinets and reclaimed wood) that the clients want. We had a budget and they helped us stick to that with innovative ideas and sources for materials. We love our new space and it's really allowed us to update a mid 1960's floor plan to a contemporary, inviting area to be together.

We hired Heron Horton as our architects for a new build. They more than exceeded our expectations with a design for a modern home that would blend into a more traditional neighborhood. They were able to take our dreams and turn them into reality.

We worked with Jeff and Jennifer on the design of our new house in West Little Rock. We found them easy to work with, very professional, and creative. The shape and size of our lot, as well as design requirements of the neighborhood were major challenges we faced. The design that they came up with was beautiful, functional and truly unique. I knew I loved Herron/Horton's clean, modern work from pictures, but I also knew I couldn't afford the full-blown services of an architect in our recent remodel. Jennifer was willing to come out and give us a one hour Design Consult, only charging an hour's rate. While we didn't have a drawing to show our contractor, we did have lots of good ideas and a list of products and people to pull from. They really got our job off to a great start.
