The Hyland Studio

My main point of contact at Hyland was Diane. She was fun and easy to work with. She took my design and transformed it into a beautiful custom stained glass window.

Hyland Studio is extraordinary in their attention to detail and willingness to work with their clients. Their artists are second to none. We have had excellent experience working with them for new stained glass in our parish.

I am very pleased to have chosen Hyland Studio to conserve the stained glass windows for Piedmont Community Church. Tom Rigdon provided expert services, and the project was completed on time and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations.

They did a great job fixing and updating our leaded glass door! There was a broken piece in the door. They added tempered glass on either side of the leaded window to protect us from a future incident. Then they installed the door for us.

I worked with Brad and Char at Hyland Studio to repair a stained glass that was damaged due to an auto accident. The damage was very extensive and my expectations were very low. However, the finished product was amazing! Brad and Char were very professional and I would definitely utilize The Hyland Studio for any future needs.

The artisans at Hyland Studios did a beautiful job in designing, creating and installing a unique skylight used in our home. Their care in working with us to get the colors and artistry resulted in a beautiful feature we see and enjoy every day.

We contracted The Hyland Studio to create 2 custom abstract clear and beveled windows for our family room. Diane, Hyland's designer, spent time with us to understand our ideas, laid out 3 design alternatives for each window, and collaborated with us for several hours to select different obscure glass patterns for each piece of each window. The results were spectacular! Fabrication and installation went right per schedule and per budget in coordination with a large remodeling project. We had a stormy period following installation, with heavy winds that drove rain hard onto the 2 new windows. One experienced a leak, which was promptly repaired by Hyland to our full satisfaction. No problems since! We've received countless compliments on our windows, and we enjoy them every day! They have a southern exposure, so get sunlight whenever the sun is out. The play of light on each window changes as the day progresses. It's like having a dynamic light show that changes by the minute every day! These windows are truly pieces of art. I even asked Tom if we could get a small medallion with The Hyland Studio's name and the artist's signature engraved to affix to each window, but we haven't made it happen yet. We have been very pleased with our interactions with The Hyland Studio and with the windows they created for us. We highly recommend The Hyland Studio any and all of your needs for custom artwork in glass!

Hyland Studio did a wonderful job fixing a very complex leaded glass widow for me. There timeliness, attention to detail was second to none!

Hyland designed and installed a decorative ceiling lay light for a client. Not only did Hyland work well with the client and their artist, they solved the difficult problem of how to lift the large glass lay light to make access into the attic. We never would have thought to use pneumatic shocks (like on the trunk of a car) without the combination of Hyland's creative and technical skills.

We had a very difficult project at the top of a stair well. The 8'x8' glass panel was mounted horizontally. Hyland studio did an excellent job designing the support structure and providing the installation. We recommend them for any project you are considering and we would definitely use them again.

I am so glad I found Hyland Studio. We were getting close to finishing our remodel in early 2016 and I was trying to finish the double pocket doors that we were installing in our living room and I wanted to insert glass. Hyland answered! I took in some ideas as to what I was looking for and Hyland came back with some suggestions which were perfect. I made a decision pretty quickly. I love the way they turned out!
