We love our U-Line Ice Maker out in our bar by the Pool and we use it so much in the summer when we are having barbeques and pool parties, so when it broke down last summer, we knew we had to get it fixed right away. So we called up Dallas Fort Worth Appliance Repair and told them to send a tech out as soon as they could. I was surprised when they have a tech out to us the next day. He gave the Ice Maker a good examination and determined that we needed a new control board for the unit. He said he could order one and have it in a couple of days. I told him please as soon as possible. Two days later we got a call that he had out part and he could come by at the end of the day. I said great! It was Friday so it was perfect, we would have the Ice Maker up and running before the weekend. We purchased a Sapphire Glow dishwasher a few years ago, and I have never been happy with it. It has a poorly designed bottom dish rack. If you over load does not work right, and if you put small items in it they fall through. The other day my teenager overloaded the dishwasher even though I have told them many times not to do that. So the rack came off it track again, and I tried to jam it back into the track, and I bent the wheel assembly and now the rack will not slide in anymore. The technician George told us he had seen this problem before. He said we could order a new rack which is pretty expensive or he could try to bend the wheel back and make it work. After talking to him about my dishwasher I decided I wanted to buy a new dishwasher and get rid of this massive lemon, but I like to have time to research products before I buy them, so I told him to see if he could just bend the part back and get it to work temporarily until I can get a new Dishwasher. Not only did he get us up and running quickly for very little money, but he gave me the number of a guy who got me a really great deal on a new washing machine that works great and was very reasonably priced.
