Remodel started out good. They went through several foreman which created some communication problems. They were very prompt on wanting there draws but slow on completion. Where supposed to come back and do some final repairs and never showed up. Called a few times with no response.

I am an African American Woman and I had My doubts. This is my frist written review but I am a repeat customer several times over. I would like for everyone reading this review to know, I am just floored by the amount of professionalism demostrated by this team. I have come to trust their word and recommendations. I have experienced THIEVES, LIARS and SHADY business characters before. So, when we found Puretree I was very pleased. The latest job I hired Puretree for was to replaced some ceiling titles after a/c drained clogged and overflowed. It was a professional job done by a professional team, who did not think my job request was too little and not worthy of their time. You know what? They left the unused titles for any future mishaps. Puretree, to me you are the best darn company in the country.

I have used Pure Tree for many years being lucky enough to have found Pure Tree shortly after the owner arrived in my town. I have had Pure Tree renovate my bathroom cabinets, repair and paint my interiors in the kitchen, living room and dining room ( I have extremely high ceilings), tear down and rebuild my outside decks and then appropriately stain them. In the beginning the owner came to assess projects and always provided a detailed estimate with full explanations of what was covered and included. There is now a team for Pure Tree with a general manager and field supervisor. The team can handle any questions or problems that may arise and they come and inspect work as it progresses. The company workers are carefully hired. I highly recommend Pure Tree Home Improvement Services.

Our project : Our home was a complete gut job and remodel. We were victims of hurricane Harvey. James was here as soon as it was safely possible. He sent his crew in and we had a new roof in two days. The hurricane hit August 25/26 2017. James had us moved back in the last week in January 2018. That is very impressive!!!! There are folks here in Port A that still are waiting on a roofer. His crew was nothing but professional. Arrived at 8 and stayed all day. We are so proud of the way our house looks now. And our utility bills have dropped greatly. The new roof and insulation, the new double pane windows. I recommend Puretree whole heartily.

Without a doubt, fantastic experience. These folks are above and beyond. The work was excellent, exceeded my expectations. Not only is their workmanship terrific, but their attitude while working with the customer is outstanding, no matter how picky I got with detail they approached my requests with a smile and a "Yes sir, we can do that, happy to help" posture. Small things, not in our contract, they attended to without asking, and small things not in our contract I requested were done with a smile and no big extra charges. The work place was left immaculate daily. I would (and will) use them again in a heartbeat and have absolutely no intention of looking around for someone better or cheaper. They are special and they treat their customers special. One Very Happy Customer! I Highly Recommend PureTree.

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about the quality of work performed by James Maddalone. We lived in a nice but dated home in the Country Club and James updated my kitchen. First he started by removing the old florescent fixture and popcorn ceiling and replacing it with a nice flat ceiling and recessed lighting. Then he removed an awkward cabinet that hung over the island which meant lots of sheetrock repair....but left us with a nice open concept. He then converted our old stove and installed a new gas stove top and vent hood. He transformed our ugly kitchen into a modern show stopper! He stayed on budget, time frame and cleaned up his work area daily. If you are looking for remodeling work....Hire this guy...you will not be disappointed.

I truly wish I had the experience that I read about in the reviews that made me choose Puretree for our home renovations. Initially the estimator knew exactly what we wanted but our vision did not end up as our final product. To look at our tile shower from a few steps away it’s beautiful. One of the problems is the lippage (unevenness of the tile) of several tiles that are left. They removed some of the extremely severe lipped tiles but there are still several left to look at daily. The lack of grout or workmanship of the grout on some tiles were replaced is another issue. The shower head and knob not being centered is another. We had told the estimator, project manager and field supervisor which way we wanted the shower door to slide and it was still installed on the opposite side from which we asked for it. After the holes were drilled in the tile and it was installed we just accepted it. Now it bothers me EVERY time I get in and out of it. Our water damaged wood flooring was replaced but we have lippage there too because the planks that were purchased were too wide and each plank had to be ripped to the correct width. Making the tongue and groove system of the planks to keep them even and flat nonexistent. Clean up was lacking as well but I’m sure it could have been worse. In the end the rotten wood and leaks are fixed but it was far from the professional workmanship that I read about. Our last contact with the company was repeated texts and calls but not to ask how we liked our final project but collect the last check. Like I said I wish I had the experience that I had read about and I wish they had lived up to their statement “We employ only the best tradesmen to work on your project.” as stated on their website.

James and his entire staff were absolutely wonderful! From the process of getting bids, through the planning stages and through completion they were nothing short of fabulous. These guys are 100% professionals. We had a very large (HUGE!) project that involved almost 15,000sqft. Rooms were demolished, rebuilt, repainted, doors removed/replaced, painting and trim work completed, flooring removed and replaced - you name it; they did it. Through the entire process we were kept informed of changes, needs and we were supported with any questions that arose. Over the course of the 5 month renovation we came to think of James and his employees as members of our own team; and, we miss them being here now!!
