We loved working with JSDG! They furnished our first floor (great room, foyer, dining room, living room, bathroom, backyard) and it looks amazing!!! We are always getting compliments and asked where we got everything. Our furniture looks very sophisticated and modern and we love it all! From the first moment we met the extraordinarily talented Jamie Schachtel and her daughter Olivia we knew they were the right team to remodel our home. Jamie fully captured the vision we had and turned that into a reality that we could never have accomplished with anyone else. The experience we had working with Jamie and her team was first class in every way. Our initial meeting was in our home with more meetings in her gorgeous showroom in Ravinia where she has all the samples and items from which to choose. She guided us through the ABT store and Studio 41 with private appointments plus we received her discount at ABT for our kitchen appliances which was significant. We hired the contractors through Jamie who were all incredible, plus Jamie’s office schedules all of it for you and manages the work in progress. One of the things that most impresses me is Jamie’s incredible work ethic. I do not think I ever went more than sixty seconds without her responding to a text, phone call or email. When we were out of town, she face-timed us from inside our home to help us pick out floor stains, show us updates and supervised all the contractors for us. She is truly the best in every way. I have already referred JSD to my friends and family who are all extremely impressed working with her just the same as we are! We are so grateful we found Jamie and would recommend to anyone seeking a designer to look no further! To say we are thrilled with our outcome would be an understatement!! The kitchen chairs Jamie recommended are defective. Within 3 months of using them 3 of the 6 chairs have broken. Jamie refuses to repair them and states that the manufacturers warranty doesn’t cover it. Very dissatisfied.
