We had a horrible experience with Durango Developments. We started our renovation last November and are still recovering from poor craftsmanship and multiple mistakes almost a year later. There was zero communication and zero accountability. In reply your response, we're very surprised that you aren't aware of our displeasure with this project since we made it clear through a number of different ways. In regards to deficiencies on our project, we want to be clear that there were specific issues with our kitchen, the projects timeline, communication, tile, and cabinets which were all presented to you. As a result, in our last correspondence we re-stated all the issues and withheld the amount that the labour and repairs have taken. We want to portray an accurate account.

Durango Developments did an outstanding job on our kitchen renovations including managing and executing the project. The project included design, removal of the old kitchen, layout changes, installation of new cabinets, countertop, all appliances and fixtures, and floor refinishing. Before we began we heard horror stories of renovations run amok but our experience was exactly the opposite. The whole process was well-managed, with a minimum of inconvenience to us, and the final result was beautiful. We were impressed with the high standards of workmanship and attention to detail, the excellent project communications, the recruitment and management of skilled subcontractors, and the cleanliness of the worksite. Durango offered suggestions throughout the project which improved the overall result. We also contracted Durango to rebuild our peninsula fireplace. They did such a great job that our designer took pictures to show other contractors how the tile mitering should be done. We highly recommend Durango Developments. We get many compliments on our renovations, thanks to the Durango team!

Durango Developments renovated our 60+ year old basement two 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately, the scope of the project changed and grew dramatically upon the discovery of structural issues during demolition. Jane and Hardy worked very closely with us to meet the unexpected challenges we faced, and provided terrific solutions in a timely manner. They brought in the necessary experts to complete the project, and were respectful of the fact that we lived in our home during the complete renovation. We are thrilled with the result; in addition to being beautiful, our home is safe, solid and mechanically sound. We have recommended Durango Developments to others, and will continue to do so!
