Jed created beautiful custom bookshelves with a reading nook for our library. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship. They are a dream come true (finally room for all our books)! Jed was a pleasure to work with. He was always quick to respond to emails. He has great design advice and accounted for every detail. We will definitely be keeping him in mind for future projects, and recommending him to all our friends in the area!

As part of the renovation of my downtown DC property I worked with Jed Dinger and his team to create a kitchen to elevate the aesthetic and function in my modestly-sized condo. What I now have is much more than custom cabinetry - it is fine, handmade furniture. Jed’s design sense, attention to detail, and quality of product have exceeded my impossibly high standards.

This is the 3rd time we’ve turned to Jed to design and create a custom woodwork project for our home. This latest project was a beautiful walnut mantle for our family room fireplace. Stunning work. And Jed is fabulous to work with - - collaborative, creative, professional. We will be asking Jed to help us with additional custom work for our home.

We used Jed to create custom floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in our study and a shelving/cabinet unit in a bedroom. He and his team were very professional. He gave us detailed plans for how the shelves would look, patiently explained the plans to us, and modified them to our request. He also dealt with coordinating the install with the management of our apartment building, which was complicated. The finished product was beautiful. We are very satisfied.

Our custom cabinetry is perfect and beautiful! Jed was so helpful with design, color choosing and communicative during the entire process. We love the way it came out and can’t wait to use them for another project soon!

The day Jed came to our house for preliminary measurements, I showed him a photo of exactly what I wanted. With prompt communication, accurate drawings, and professional customer service, Jed and his team delivered. Early! We had our exceeded-our-expectations bookshelves/cabinets before the holidays! They were a picture-perfect copy and paste quality of the photo we showed Jed that first day. The drawers come in and out with such ease. The wall-to-wall bookshelves that sit above the cabinets came with adjustable shelving, which we love. Since having the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling customized bookshelf/cabinets, our guests have been saying that it looks as though the shelves/cabinets came with the house! They were installed with precision and cohesiveness with the rest of the room. We plan to hire Jed and his team again to do more installations in other areas of the house. We're so happy with the end result!

I had two large pieces of "rainforest" granite, a stunning, dramatic granite with varying shades of brown and gray. Since is is quarried in Rajasthan, India, I wanted to have a table designed that would have an Indian motif. I talked with Jed and he came back with a design that was just perfect and so I asked him to make two tables. They are just beautiful. In addition, Jed created a coffee table with plaster inlays from Tunisia. Jed's craftmanship is outstanding, really museum quality. You will enjoy working with Jed.

Stunning custom cabinetry, with incredible attention to every detail. Jed was a delight to work with - - creative, collaborative, practical and professional. Great on design, great on execution of the project. The installation team he sent to our home was awesome - - professional, meticulous, and knowledgeable. We will be using Jed and his team for future work in our home.

We hired Jed to build office cabinets for us and it could not have turned out better. He guided us through the process and the end result was magnificent. Highly recommend.

I recommend Jed in the highest terms. The project he did for us involved designing, constructing, and installing built in bookshelves in our bedroom. Specifically, we wanted shelves that "framed" the bed, or went up the wall on either side of the bed, with long shelves above the bed connecting the tall bookcases on either side, and at the bottom we wanted nightstands on each side, with individual lighting (above both of our heads and remote controlled LED light in the nightstand itself) and concealed outlets for power strips. Adding to the degree of difficulty of the project was that we have an old house and the room is slightly tilted, so this had to be done with precision. We're thrilled with the results. We've had a number of projects done on our house, and the quality of this one stands out. Aside from that, the ease of communication with Jed and his team also stood out. We could get in touch easily with questions, and it was clear that he and his team cared about our satisfaction. As a bonus, a member of his team — while removing a baseboard — found a 1921 coin with some collector's value; he gave it to us and explained the historical significance. I share that just to emphasize how pleasant the whole team was to deal with. I have no reservations at all in recommending Jed, and would eagerly work with him again.

Jed created custom bookshelves combined with nightstands and built-in lighting for our bedroom. Our bedroom looks magnificent and we feel like royalty. Jed has an incredible attention to detail, creates gorgeous furniture that looks like it’s always been there, and gave brilliant design suggestions to perfect the project. His team’s carpentry skill was superb. They were also uncommonly communicative and a pleasure to work with. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
