Stephanie Kennington is a joy to work with and we have enjoyed living in the environment she created for us 16 years ago and upgraded eight years later. Her sense of color and texture is delightful. I have used Joy Designs on three occasions: one, was kitchen updating, with granite counter tops, another was furnishing our living room with new fabrics and sofas, and three was updating upholstery and carpeting. Each time, I found Stephanie to be very helpful in giving me options, both price points and colors. She was able to give me several choices of fabrics that go together...mix and match possibilities...that allowed me to work within my own time frame and budget. Delightful to work with and I felt really listened to.

Stephanie Kennington of Joy Designs is fantastic on both small and big jobs. She came up with just the right matting and frame to highlight a piece of art I brought back from China; then she pulled out a hammer and nail and hung it for me! She also fashioned some perfect throw pillows for my bed from some Chinese table runners. Large projects have included redesigning bathrooms--her sense of space, her ideas, and attention to details is excellent. And the latest project was finding the right flooring for a basement that was damaged by flooding. She found a product that could withstand moisture but looks like hardwood that you would use in a living room! She managed the installation which was done in record time and within budget.

I have consulted with Joy designs on two projects. First, when we built a new home, of which her advice on color and knowledge of new products in home design were invaluable. Most recently in 2013 we worked on a major master bath and bedroom remodel which resulted in exactly what I envisioned. Products were delivered on time and within budget and any issues that came up with the sub contractors were always resolved quickly and professionally. It was a joy to work with this company.

Stephanie guided us in decorating two beautiful homes - in Dana Point and San Clemente, California. Her designsavy and execution of color selection with accessories made our homes beautiful show places. I am now considering another home in Tucson and am feeling lost without her suggestions and advice. She is so capable in interpreting our lifestyle to blend pieces we currently own with new accent pieces bringing everything in the house "au courant". Everyone who comes through our front door immediately says "What a beautiful home".
