About Us

Kris Ozburn started designing interiors in Washington DC in 1994, first with decorative painting and later with entire room conceptions, designs, and implementation. Now based in Raleigh, Kris has started Second Mile to offer both decorating advice as well as interior renovation services. Second Mile is able to offer complete redesign to older homes, as well as walk the client through the construction process.

Kris at Second Mile Designs is not only a pleasure to work with, she has an amazing design eye that helps brings projects to life! I have had the opportunity as a kitchen designer to work with her on several projects and her use of materials combined with a mixture of styles worked perfectly in the spaces. She has a beautiful and creative approach to the design process and I cannot wait to work together again. I highly recommend Second Mile Designs.
