About Us

Lisa Furey Interiors is an award winning, luxury, boutique interior design firm. Lisa credits her grandmom for the inspiration of the relaxed, yet chic designs that have become her trademark. Switching gears after practicing divorce law for ten years, Lisa found her calling as a down to earth, "barefoot" designer who embraces all styles thru an easy does it approach. She is fully engaged in the client's project at all times - something she knows is rare and sets her apart from other designers. Her skills have been sought out and utilized by many of the region’s most respected builders and developers as well as numerous private clients, realtors and investment groups. From the initial consultation to the final installation, she consistently produces a broad range of interiors and exteriors that exude the degree of quality and comfort that are desired and envisioned by the client. More important than Lisa’s solid credentials, her longstanding clients point to her personal warmth and professionalism as hallmarks of her success. Lisa continues to exceed expectations! My home has never been more warm and welcoming, and I am delighted when I walk in my door! Lisa worked closely with me to understand my vision and taste, and she brought me options that were within my budget. She is highly creative, yet practical. Her approach is well organized, and her follow up is impeccable. Working with her vendors has enabled me to access goods that I couldn’t have on my own - and saved me money. Finally, she is fun, approachable and super-cool to work with.

Lisa brings a wealth of talent, a respect for budget limits, and a kindness that makes her a joy to work with. She began with red lining our plans, continued on with exterior materials selection and then moved to interior materials selection. The house has design integrity inside and out. Lisa worked remotely, but with photos, Facetime, and shared internet resources she was able to complete all aspects of the job and in an incredibly timely manner. You would be lucky to have Lisa’s insights and guidance on your project.

Lisa is incredible. She really took the time to understand our style and helped us feel at home in our new home. I have worked with Lisa several times over the years on smaller projects and each time I'm more than thrilled with the way things turn out! I would love to have her work with me more on all my projects! One of the most important things I have learned from Lisa is to trust her!! I often need to look at multiple options on my own before making decisions, but in the end, I always make my way back to her initial recommendations! Paint colors, rug selections, light fixtures, and furniture~ she has such an amazing talent for choosing and finding things that are not only perfect for the space but also for the budget. So, trust her!

Lisa was an integral part of our project. She kept us making decisions and moving forward. Most importantly, she kept us on time. Lisa’s expertise is vast. She helped us with all aspects of our project from plumbing fixtures, paint colors, and cabinet design to trim work, light fixtures, and furniture. Lisa listened to us regarding our desired look and feel. Working with our preferences in mind, she ensured that we had several options each time we were making any decisions. We were impressed by how much Lisa could accomplish in a short amount of time. She never wasted a minute as she guided us through difficult decisions like tile, knobs, and siding. In addition to Lisa’s knowledge and professionalism, she is a joy! Her sense of humor and wit will keep you smiling.

We contacted Lisa to literally take us from the dark to the light. Our living room/dining room was painted red and with dark, more traditional furniture. She transformed this space to be calming and more inviting. She also did the same in our master bedroom. Eliminating the big furniture and giving us more space to breathe. And if that wasn’t enough, she renovated both our bathrooms. Giving us updated fixtures and making everything clean and fresh! I would highly recommend Lisa! It was a pleasure working with her and I would work with her again! Maybe our family room next?!

Lisa changed our home with such beauty it has transcended our imagination. She was meticulous and dedicated in our project. Lisa was easy to talk with, she listened and we connected on a personal level that was relaxing and soothing. Lisa introduced us to new inspiring ideas, new colors and objects in our home and ultimately created for us a warm, inviting home with lasting beauty. We are so happy with the results!

Lisa has been wonderful to work with as we build our new home! She's extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. We've found her very easy to work with, as she's direct, timely, and she does a great job of bringing up angles of the project we haven't considered. Her insights as we've navigated the construction process have been vital, and we're very excited for the final result. :)

Lisa is the best! After admiring her design work, I hired her to help me with design selections and furniture for my new home. She has a wonderful work ethic, accommodates my difficult schedule and miraculously chooses exactly what I love. Lisa has made everything so effortless and I am looking forward to seeing the final result. She never disappoints.

Lisa has brought great energy, recommendations and resources to help us figure out what we love and what will make our home come alive. We found Lisa through Houzz, with the intent to finish a living space to complement a kitchen renovation and since have added an exterior revamp into the mix. Lisa sees we have three styles to accommodate - husband, wife and teenage son - and she is helping us re create a home that reflects our personalities, working within parameters to maximize the space, refresh it and update it while being practical. We’re super excited to put it all together for the big reveal next year.

I found Lisa on Houzz, what caught my attention was Lisa crediting her grandmother for her relaxed style. Lisa has been a pleasure to work with, you can’t help but love her energy, ideas and designs. I first used her a few years ago to help select paint colors and update the interior of my home. Recently, I’ve been in touch for help changing the exterior from stucco to Hardie Board / stone. As we’re looking at the exterior Lisa says, “you really need to change your landscaping” and of course she was right. I know you’ll be pleased if you decide to use Lisa’s services.

Our project started with a kitchen renovation then grew to losing a dining room, expanding the kitchen and replacing all hardwood floors. Lisa provided a great plan forward and stuck to her vision of a gorgeous crystal chandelier despite our concerns of too much bling. She provided excellent vision and pushed the right amount to win us over and rein us in when we went rouge off the plan. Definitely a push and pull project with tons of decisions to make. Lisa was always ready to respond to questions. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars has to do with the way in which we communicated. I use texting/ phone calls and Lisa prefers emails/phone calls. Some of my payments were late due to my lack of awareness they were due. My ACH bank system did not work with hers therefore she did not get paid as fast as she would have preferred. Lisa is very knowledgeable, provides high quality, met deadlines and budgets.

In response to the email comment - Designers have ALOT of things to keep track of (more than most people realize). I employ email folders and sub folders to properly keep track of each of my projects, as most of them are very large scale and complex. Scrolling thru texts is impossible to manage. I must have a proper document to refer back to, which is why I can not text with clients.

As for billing, my understanding and my experience with Quikbooks is that Quikbooks is compatible with most every bank. Not sure why we were having issues, but agree it was frustrating - for both of us. I am truly sorry for that.

I appreciate your business and I can not wait to see everything in place!
