Lisa was recommended to me by a friend when we moved into our new house and she was beyond what I expected. Not only does she know the product inside out and is so generous with her time (5 hours the first meeting and 4 the second!), she's super cool. She had suggestions for everything and was very adept at understanding my style and aesthetic from the beginning. And there was never any pressure to order beyond our budget. I give Lisa Morehead my highest recommendation 5 Stars! She is an experienced professional who helped me choose the best option in shades for my living room redo. The room has five windows and three exposures, so I wanted something that would let in the natural light but also provide privacy. She recommended shades that open from the top as well as the bottom. THE PERFECT SOLUTION! She also offered suggestions for some other concerns I had on completing the project. I would certainly highly recommend working with her and I would work with her again without hesitation.

I procrastinated with ordering blinds for our new house for almost a year. We only needed them in a few rooms really for sun/heat, not privacy. Of course I waited till after Covid came to finally decide we couldn’t make it through summer without them. Lisa was more than understanding and soooooo helpful. we had several FaceTime meetings and plenty of conversations to get down to exactly what we needed/wanted. I felt extremely comfortable telling her that the first quote was way out of our budget. She made it happen. We ordered 5 shades from her and we LOVE THEM. Exactly what we wanted. We also installed them ourselves and called her mid install for one cause we could t figure it out and she explained. I would use Lisa agin in a heart beat. I will post pictures later. Despite the pandemic preventing Lisa from doing an in-home design consultation for my two window shades, she is so good and so knowledgeable—and is a very good listener and great fun—that we did the consultation via FaceTime. I used my iPad mini and showed her my windows, we discussed the various materials of the shades and liners, and we decided then and there which ones to use—all in just an hour. And they are magnificent! My only regret is that I don’t have any more windows left for her on which to wield her unerring design expertise!

Lisa was extremely helpful from start to finish. She insured that an error was corrected quickly. Easy to deal with, always pleasant and assisted us in determining what would fit best for our apartment. Highly recommended facilitator.

It's too bad that there are only 5 stars to rate Lisa's services because we would have given her a 10+! Lisa was one of several consultants we interviewed for window treatments. Her creative input, accessibility, and expertise immediately set her apart from the other vendors. Lisa's "zen" approach came in handy when we were indecisive with the design. We had lots of questions and Lisa had all the answers. She provided various design options to stay within our budget without compromising the look and feel that we were going for.

We are so lucky that Lisa consulted on every aspect of our window coverings. Before she came I was completely overwhelmed. She spent hours, actually days, going over all my choices. She was enthusiastic and patient when I changed my mind repeatedly. She was understanding and easygoing when I changed it back again. She prepared as many estimates as I asked. Most importantly, I chose options I hadn’t even been aware of before she came. In fact, she told me exactly why the choices I was making were unsuitable for my windows. When it came to installation, she was at my house when I wasn’t available. The best part was that she was right, I am so glad I trusted her because... I LOVE THE RESULTS!

This is the second time we have used Lisa Morehead from Smith and Noble for a window project. And again , Lisa came through like a champ. The shopping and selection of materials took place in our home, so we could see the colors and textures right where they would eventually be. Lisa’s starting suggestions are always perfect, and make it easy to get to a final selection. Plus, she makes it fun and interesting. She also works to get the best final cost, navigating a somewhat complicated pricing system. She also arranged for the installation, which turned out to be surprisingly simple and efficient. All in all, we could not be happier with Lisa Morehead and our new guest bedroom suite window treatments.
