We had wanted to redo our kitchen ourselves to save a few dollars. After getting quotes from Home Depot and Lowe's, we figured let's see what it would cost to have a pro do the job. We contacting Hochuli design & Remodeling through the recommendation a very happy friend and had them come and give us an estimate. Their pricing was just a few hundred dollars more than using the big box stores and me doing the install! Scott and Lorrie came over to look at our project and brought some samples based on what we liked from our phone conversation. They set a timeline and even had a printed schedule of when and where their trades would be during the entire project. Their communication and organization is what sold us aside from the value we were getting. We hired them and the job was completed a week early! We figured there would be some issues as our floor wasn't quite level but they figured out a way to set the cabinets perfectly straight and secure with a laser. Everything went smoothly and we are absolutely loving our kitchen. Thank you guys!! You will always be referred and recommended by us!

We hired Hochuli Design & Remodeling to do a pretty big job for us, updating a mid-century house in Tempe. The design phase was enjoyable. Lorrie did a great job understanding our sense of style to come up with a plan for a kids’ bathroom, entryway storage, new fireplace facade, dining room, and of course a beautiful kitchen. Decisions were made in a timely fashion and they were willing to modify the plans a couple times to get the budget into our preferred range. Construction went smoothly and quickly and we appreciated the daily reports made available to us. In addition, the billing was handled in a very organized and convenient way, with electronic payments made easy via their website. All in all we are very happy with the way the house turned out and we would use their services again if we ever needed to do another project.

From start to finish, working with Scott and Lorrie was a 5 star experience. After an exhaustive search, we chose Hochuli Design & Remodeling because of their professionalism, attention to detail, expert level craftsmanship, and beautiful design aesthetics. We also didn't want to go with a cheap option that we knew we would regret later. We wanted experts because this is the home we plan to stay in forever. So, with high expectations and an abundance of trust, we left our home for 8 weeks (exactly what they estimated) and came back sight unseen, to view the finished product. Of course they kept us up to date on a weekly, if not daily basis, with photos and conversations with the Sean, the project manager. To say we were blown away with the results is an understatement! I still can't believe I live in such a beautiful house and have Scott, Lorrie, and Sean to thank. It was worth every penny.

We recently remodeled our primary bathroom, kitchen, and replaced most of the flooring throughout the house. We had a wonderful experience from the initial meeting through the remodel itself. The design process was easy and painless and our budget was considered, always. The organization of our project was great, we knew what was happening when and were always able to reach someone with questions. There were daily updates with photos and status updates on the website. Although we were living in the space and could see the progress personally, descriptions of items completed was an added bonus for us as reno novices. All the trades were professional, hard working and respectful of our house. Although we tried to stay out of their way, they were accommodating and friendly. We were very happy with the result and would definitely work with Hochuli Design and Remodel Team again. Highly recommend!!

From builder grade to Beautiful! When we purchased our winter condo last year here in Tempe we wanted to update both of our bathrooms. We contacted Hochuli design company and got the ball rolling. We met with Scott & Lorrie only a week before we were to return to our summer home in Chicago. We were immediately impressed with their design showroom and them. With in a week they came out to our condo to walk through and understand our wants and ideas. After that we were under contract to have both bathrooms completely updated while we were back home in Illinois. We had constant communication with our designer Amanda and contractor Martin. We felt a high level of trust allowing them to work in our condo while we were back home in Chicago. They worked seamlessly with our building management and provided us with daily updates on the progress through the computer program Buildertrend. In fact having the daily updates with photos was like living through the construction without any of the dust! The preparation to prepare our condo for demo and construction was unbelievable! Plastic walls, heavy duty flooring protection etc. Their timeline for the project was accurate and they worked within our budget. We are more than happy with the results and would easily recommend Hochuli design & remodeling team to anyone who wants to take their project from builder grade to beautiful.

Hochuli Design and Remodeling did a beautiful stone fireplace for our Chandler home. It's amazing! We were impressed with the entire professional process from the first home visit and throughout the construction and wrap up. It is the centerpiece of our living room not to mention the warm cozy days/nights that we have enjoyed. Thanks for everything!

Hochuli did a complete gut remodel of our 1970's ranch house and transformed it into a dream house. Having completed several remodels of previous homes, this by far was the best experience with a design and remodeling company I have ever had. Lorrie always had the best design suggestions, and steered us clear of any mistakes. Scott was extremely professional and his workers were fantastic. I can't recommend this team more highly!

The Hochuli Design & Remodeling Team not only restored our home after a flood, but redesigned our kitchen to be very efficient. Lorrie presented a few great ideas from which to choose and was great to work with when selecting the newest updated materials. They stayed right on schedule with every detail until they completed the project 5 days earlier than promised and they are very easy to reach for any additional needs now that the job is done. We are very pleased with the results!

I professionally photograph many remodel projects for clients and the folks at Hochuli Design and Remodel were fantastic clients to work with. My clients always have a personal relationship with the unique designs they produce and it is up to me to create their vision on digital media. Many times these images are submitted for ASID competitions so quality is imperative. Having clients that are open to two way communication during the shoot is the key to producing the final high end product.

We hired Lorrie and Scott to remodel our 1990’s kitchen, and bring it up to date. Lorrie guided us through the entire design process, made great suggestions for functionality and materials. Not to mention she was able to show us a conceptual rendering of what the kitchen would look like when finished. The construction schedule was pretty accurate, and we really liked that they didn’t start until they knew the cabinets were coming on-time. So we weren’t without a kitchen for any longer than necessary.

I hired Hochuli Design & Remodeling Team to remodel my upstairs, which included a tear down and rebuild of an existing staircase, new wood floors, a cosmetic overhaul of a gas fireplace and to customize some storage areas that were not functional. Lorrie's design ideas were fresh and stunning. The craftsmanship on the stairs and fireplace were pretty amazing. The estimated cost and quoted bid never changed. There were no games with the invoices. As one might expect, there were a couple of delays, but I did not find that to be Scott or Lorrie's fault. There were some minor cosmetic issues at the end of the job that needed attention, but they were remedied in a timely manner. Overall, Scott and Lorrie were easy to work with and we are blown away by the transformation.
