We love Laurie and team! We purchased our first home and came from apartment living so we didn't take any of the old furniture with us. The home is more traditional than my personal style so I wanted to make sure I stayed true to the style of home while having pieces and design that was more my personality while being cohesive through the whole home. Laurie and DeDe are FABULOUS and I would definitely use them again! L. Pearson Design assisted my husband and I on our remodel after Hurricane Harvey destroyed the downstairs of our home. We chose to take the opportunity to take walls down, cabinets out and reconstruct our kitchen and living area. Laurie and DeDe helped us choose the style and colors with which we were comfortable, and they created a beautiful vision of our future home. During a season that was very difficult for our entire city, supplies and services were hard to attain. Laurie and DeDe were always punctual with communications, always professional and helped me keep the job moving (with contractors) so we could move back into our home on a particular date, without delays. We cannot express how frustrated we were with our builder/contractor during the process of remodeling, yet we had the completely opposite experience with Laurie and DeDe. They were absolutely delightful to work with and we would HIGHLY recommend working with L.Pearson Design!

She is great about giving you options, listening to your budget, and working with items that you already own. I was stunned by how quickly she was able to come in and complete a project. Even my husband was super pleased and said it was well worth what we spent. That was a huge compliment coming from him!! Laurie is very responsive and she really listens to your needs/wants. The silly thing is you are a little sad that the project is over with because you had a great time and loved everything she did. We purchased a new home in the spring of 2019. We did not move any furniture from our previous home. Laurie was recommended to me by several friends. I knew after the first five minutes of our first meeting that was the one. For one, she hugged me. I love that! Second her home looks like a Southern Living model home. Third she was very respectful of my budget and my opinions (very few opinions; creativity is not my thing). Fourth she and her team were very communicative about order status of furniture rugs etc. Fifth her attention to decorating detail and accessorizing is outstanding. Gosh I could go on. I loved every minute of working with Laurie!!

Laurie and DeDe are a dream team!! I am a busy mother of a large family and full-time owner of a medical practice. We were so ready for a complete overhaul of our living areas, but who seriously has a spare minute to run around to showrooms and make all kinds of design decisions? Enter Laurie, with her impeccable taste, long-range vision, and upbeat, cheerful, and energetic personality! She listened and understood our needs, and confidently directed us through breaking down walls; reconfiguring a staircase; and floor, paint, light fixture, furniture and drapery selections, to an end result that is light, bright, airy, modern, and so peaceful. Laurie and DeDe are consummate professionals and respond quickly to any questions that come up along the way. I am almost sad to be finished with our project and would definitely use them again for future projects! Highly recommend!

Laurie and her team strived to make sure I was completely satisfied all along the way. Our project was a large remodel where she helped me make all selections from flooring, paint colors, lighting, home layout, fixtures, etc through to furnishing and décor. I have small children and her consideration for our lifestyle when making all of these choices by drawing on her own experiences was incredibly helpful. Laurie is a fantastic interior designer. We asked her to help design and furnish an office, entry way, powder room, dinning room, living room, family room, breakfast area, second floor living room, master bedroom and master bathroom. We met several times to go over her vision for the space. She help put together everything from carpets, drapes, lighting, furniture and decorative items to put a special touch to each of the rooms. She installed everything over three days and we had a big reveal. We were amazed by our new space. She was very easy to work with and very responsive to any concerns during this process. I recommend her highly for anyone looking for a professional touch for their house.

My husband and I set out on an extensive beach house renovation last summer. We gutted both the inside and outside of the home, and needed someone who could help us with both building decisions and the look and feel of the home. We could not be happier that we asked Laurie to help us with all of it. She is fun to work with, and her taste and style are amazing! She is easy to communicate with and very responsive. I've been working with Laurie since August 2015, and have had nothing short of a wonderful experience. My home is a new build, and we decided to start fresh with all decors. For anyone who has done this before understands what a lengthy process this can be, specifically when ordering custom pieces throughout. Laurie has been so patient with me and the whole process. She's wonderful to collaborate with and with bringing ideas to fruition. She’s a perfectionist and dedicated with her projects, so you won’t get pawned off to assistants once you make selections, like you would with other designers. Everything has been seen through, from inception to completion per room. I have received many compliments when guests come over and have been asked on multiple occasions who my designer is and if I could pass along her contact information. We are finishing up the last touches and I've never been more excited to see the end result of something. Laurie help me redecorate my LR, DR, Family Room, Library & sitting room over several years. She is very talented with great taste. She incorporated a few contemporary pieces with my traditional ones, giving the house a fresher look. She developed her ideas with my taste and requests in mind, listening to what the client wants. Laurie was an answer to my home decorating prayers. I had always struggled with creating a cohesive look; often buying décor pieces here and there and not feeling as though the space worked together. I hired Laurie to do a complete makeover of several rooms in my house. What she created was pure art. Her end result was so beautiful that it was featured in Luxe magazine and used as the backdrop for a national infomercial. It's usually the first question asked by anyone who enters my home: "WHO is your designer??" I would highly recommend Laurie and her team for any project - from help with a piece of furniture to help with holiday décor to a whole home remodel.
