Style - Kitchens by Design

Stuart (Designer, Style - Kitchens by Design) renovated the kitchen in our last house and it was absolutely brilliant - we really loved it. It was stylish, worked really well and was greatly admired. Roll on four years and we had decided to downsize and were looking for an apartment in the Wool Stores in Brisbane. We looked at a lot of apartments - some with newly installed kitchens and bathrooms in the hope of making a better sale - but even those with newly installed kitchens didn’t come anywhere near the standard of kitchen and bathrooms that Stuart provided. We discussed it all with Stuart and decided to go for an apartment with a functional layout but which needed most work. This allowed us to optimise purchase price and establish a consistent renovation theme through the whole apartment. Our instructions to Stuart were that we wanted a sophisticated looking kitchen with all the bells and whistles. We wanted elegant bathrooms with any nice little touches he could think of. We have ended up with a beautiful apartment but we have to admit that this is due more to Stuart than to us. He has fantastic ideas and great taste. Not only did he do the kitchen and bathrooms but he went on to do our walk-in robes (they’re fantastic), bookshelves in our sitting room (which are more stylish than we could have bought anywhere) and fitted units in our bedroom along with a bedhead to match. He even had a hall table made for us which continued the theme of our kitchen - it’s all beautiful. His tradesmen were all a joy to have working in our home. They took obvious pride in their work and made a point of being on site, on time with everything required to complete their work. Hopefully we won’t be moving too soon but, if we were to, we’d be calling on Stuart immediately to work his magic again.
