Really liked Matt’s work. He seamlessly blended color, edginess with class, transforming our suburban house into a unique and stylish haven (while maintaining resale value in a cookie cutter neighborhood). He was able to reuse-repurpose a lot of what we had and searched out new items to bring a complete facelift to our lower level. We especially appreciate that Matt listens and focuses on our desire to purchase used items (reducing our footprint) versus new. While it may take him more time to scour Facebook marketplace and consignment stores, every room now has character and radiates sophistication. A perfect balance of modern flair and timeless elegance. Thanks Matt!!

We hired Matt Mumme to remodel our vacation home in Texas hill country and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Matt’s keen eye for rustic elegance and attention to detail transformed our cottage to a luxury getaway. From the well-chosen furniture pieces to the earthy color palette, the entire design perfectly captured the essence of rustic/glam Texas Ranch living. He works with a contractor who does quality work and understands Matt’s eye for style. I highly recommend him for a renovation or decorating face-lift.

Heard from a friend about Matt and Mumme Interiors, gave him a call he came out and looked at everything I wanted, granted my house was built in 1948 and interior walls were stucco, the outside a nice white rock from that Era. Matt and his team were able to remove all of the stucco in the interior while preserving the outside wall. Throughout the whole project Matt was right there to answer any questions I would have. Him and his team were able to do a full remodel of my house, while also doing upgrades as far as structural improvements. The end result was amazing. I wish I could show every step from what it was to what it is now. Trust me if your looking for someone that's going to do a great job and hand you the keys for say once done, I suggest you call Matt with Mumme Interiors.

I have been a real estate broker for 49 years. Mostly Farm and Ranch investment and income producing properties. I recently bought a property with a house on it that had not been occupied for eight years was dated and in bad shape and a remodel had been started on and not completed. I had no idea what to do with it so I called Matt and he came out and looked and gave me his opinion and ideas. I agreed and he took over from there and I didn’t have to do anything no looking for stuff no picking items no dealing with labor no hassles. In 10 weeks he completely redid the place updated it modernized it and made it a beautiful home. Through the whole process he kept me updated return calls and kept me abreast of what was going on. We had people coming by every day wanting to see the house and many wanting to buy it. We were able to sell the house before it was even completed. I seldom write reviews but in this case I felt compelled since Matt did such a good job. I strongly recommend him

I can’t say enough good things about Matt. He worked quickly against some tough deadlines and to our surprise was able to find some amazingly unique pieces of our home. He decorated the library, formal & informal dining and fireplace lounge with a tight budget. We really admired his passion, flexibility and will be using him in the future.

We hired Mr. Mumme to help us decorate a historic mansion built in 1901 in the campus of Providence Catholic School in downtown San Antonio. Mr. Mumme wowed us with his creativity and worked with our limited budget. He went the extra mile to help us create a decorated room that did not clash with the home historic structure. We have been recommending his services to our parents and alumnae now. Today we got a TV station to visit and get footage of the room. We highly recommend Mumme Interiors!

Matthew or as we affectionately refer to him as Matt came into our lives via Houzz. We were looking for a designer who could help us make sense of our open floor plan and move our style from rooms to go chic to something more classic. Matt zeroed in almost immediately on our style or more realistically what we didn't even know we wanted our style to be. He helped furnish our whole home, was responsive to texts and did in a month what we might have not been able to do in a year. We no longer live in a weird empty house and with the help of Matt we have a home we are very proud of. We enthusiastically recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade there design game or who just don't even know where to start.

Matt was great to work with and very reasonable in price. I contacted Matt when I had a house on the market that wasn't selling. I knew that the home needed a fresh look with updated furniture and more of a contemporary and homey feel. Matt and his team truly delivered and staged the home with pieces that accentuated the square footage and wall height making the home seem more spacious than when empty. Matt's attention to detail is notable and his team worked long hours to get the home staged until perfect. I will definitely recommend Matt in the future.

Matt was incredible! After two failed attempts working with other decorators in the city, he restored our faith and made our project fun. From our intro, he picked up on our style and provided inspiration - we gave him an idea about what we liked, and he ran with it, creating something we would never have come up with ourselves. He "got" us completely, and transformed our likes into a perfect room for us. Professional, kind, dedicated, patient and funny - Matt was great to work with. Let Go and Let Matt! Matt Mumme has a natural talent for creating beautiful environments. Mummeinteriors did a great job decorating our whole house in a short amount of time. We were going for the Tuscan look and were so pleased that we have yet to make any changes. This was the first time we had an interior decorator - only regret not using him for our last six homes. Matt Mumme also assisted me with my daughters wedding. It too was a great success.

Matthew Mumme and Co. more than fulfilled my expectations! He gave 125% of his time and energy. His ideas surprised me, amazed me, and "blew away" the honored guests. He made my home feel as if it were a million dollar palace with the outside decor, the china plates, the silver serving pieces, REAL wine glasses, and on and on! I would NEVER hire anyone else to do a "special occasion" event except Matthew Mumme...he is the BEST and will NEVER disappoint! His experience truly shows.
