Mesh Design Projects

The team at Mesh brought our extension ideas to life. Matthew and Ben designed a modern extension with unique architectural elements, creating a new chapter for our art deco home. Always a pleasure to work with, Mesh were accommodating of our ideas whilst always keeping our budget and building design best practice front-of-mind. Not surprisingly, when we mentioned Mesh to suppliers and contractors, they always complimented their professionalism. Thank you Mesh for designing a home we absolutely love!

Matthew designed our living, kitchen and bathroom areas. Matt immediately understood what we were aiming to achieve and and worked with us to design something that would fit our needs. The process was straightforward and Matt and Ben were there every step of the way through council, engineering through to finalising our builder. We are looking forward to moving into our newly renovated home in November!

Matthew, it was such a great experience to work with you and Ben and we are so pleased with the end result. I now have a study space downstairs and the sun is beautiful there in the morning so, since we're all at home at the moment, the kids tend to hang out there with me. Everyone uses the kitchen space all day long because the light is always lovely and the pantry is the busiest room, most useful space. We also spill out onto the patio all the time, particularly for an afternoon gin and that patio is so much bonus space that you found for us, that we never knew we could have and it doubles the size of the kitchen both visually and practically. We didn’t use the lounge room much in the warmer weather, but as things cool down I’ve noticed that this is the family gathering place in the evenings. We’ve had the open fire going these last couple of nights, and it’s been really lovely. The laundry is great too, really practical and very stylish, and we’ve included some ‘cubbies’ in there for the kids school bags etc in the cabinetry, which is also a favourite feature of mine. I can rave all day long, but basically my message is good, well designed, thoughtful spaces improve the way you live your life, and given we are in this house, this home , this place all day every day, it has never been more true. I am grateful for your work, your care and ability to listen to what it was that our lives required.

Extremely helpful, considerate and cared for the outcome. Would take the time to understand your key drivers and would provide assistance to help find the right people/consultants for other aspects of the project. They provided guidance of things to consider before they needed to so that you had time to prepare your thinking and they would go that little bit extra to help where problems or challenges arose. This was the second design team I had on my project, which was not a easy project and it was chalk and cheese between the two consultants. Would have much preferred to have started with Mesh!

Matt, Sean and Ben helped to design a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and master bedroom with en-suite. The design process was straightforward, communication was excellent, and Matt was always happy to accomodate any ideas or changes we wanted. Most importantly for us the final design realistically reflected our budget. I couldn’t recommend Matt highly enough and if the need arises would engage him again for design services.

We originally had an idea of how we thought we wanted our house renovation and extension to be, but Matt's expert knowledge of space, design and usability, meant the alternatives and additions he suggested allowed the final design to capture our ideas, but enhance it both beautifully and practically. Design consultations were always enjoyable, and communication was spot on. The idea of a renovation was a pretty daunting task, but Matt made this a very easy experience for us; both in the design stages, but also in the not so fun parts of the works (council permits/engineering/surveying etc).
