We spent the early portion of 2013 working with Mark Hickman Homes (“MHH”) on a complete master bathroom update project. We had an idea as to our desired end result but needed someone to show us the way. Megan helped us through the entire process seamlessly coordinating the work of each tradesman. Mark Hickman Homes is a detailed orientated, honest, hardworking company. After speaking to a few builders and getting quotes, we found that Mark Hickman himself took the time to drive three hours to meet with our architect. He went over the concept and fine details with the architect that we were wanting in our home. He then met with us a second time to discuss how we as a family intended to live in the home and what our expectations were of the home and his building process. In his third meeting he provided a comprehensive and very detailed budget. He highlighted areas of potential cost savings. In addition he also pointed out areas that due to design detail were high in cost that he bid but wanted to ensure we wanted to execute those details due to the expense. No other builder did this, nor did they take the time to ensure their bids included the detailed work that the house plans called for. We were impressed by his thoroughness and thoughtfulness. His bid was not the cheapest, but it was the closest to reality and we knew we would not be surprised with extra expenses along the way. He took the time to ensure the overall project would be forecasted correctly and executed as designed. We are very pleased with Mark Hickman Homes, his employees and sub contractors. We love our home and consider Mark a part of our family.
