Very satisfied with the renovation to my kitchen and common bath. They were very professional and most important listened. They made an effort to find why we wanted something this way or that, and advised if they felt it was not a good idea. They'll look through your existing structure and made sure what could be salvaged be used and not just replaced. We saved a lot from what we had imagined would have been a hefty renovation had we changed everything blindly, just because we were renovating. Will definitely be looking forward to when again we engage Ming Sing for the living and bedrooms next!

My wife and I designed our 3-rm BTO by ourselves and we sought Ming Sing Construction's service after a friend's recommendation. Frankly, my wife and I assumed that we can really just choose any contractor and expect an average result in most cases, so we just went with Ming Sing Construction. However, Mr Phua impressed us with his insistence on getting a job well done. The following are four specific examples: 1. we chose 90cm x 10cm floor tiles to lay in herringbone pattern. We were advised before hand that long tiles like these may not be exactly flat and hence some tiles may jut out. If we kicked onto them we may trip or injure our toes. There were a couple of tiles that we did not even feel were problems but Mr Phua took it upon himself to have the tiles re-laid. 2. we chose navy blue walls for our living room. Likewise we were advised that dark coloured walls may not appear consistent as paint strokes may be visible. Mr Phua's team painted our living room something like 4-5 times, even though we were oblivious to what he thought was inconsistencies, to the point that my wife and I felt paiseh. But we really really thank him for his effort. 3. we chose to have a gas stove. Mr Phua took the pain to route the gas pipes such that they are concealed within the kitchen cabinets and will not appear in an ugly manner at the corner where the L backsplash meets. 4. He does not outsource the chemical washing at the end of the renovation. He shared with us that some tiles cannot be washed with acidic chemicals or something like that. Therefore, to prevent the accidental use of incompatible chemicals that may damage his clients' tiles and other fittings, he ensures that cleaning is done by his own company. I am sure there are many more areas where Mr Phua did the best he could for us. It is just that we can't be there at the house to observe all the time because both my wife and I are working. We strongly recommend Mr Phua's service.

Despite Mr Phua Tiong Lee’s efforts in resolving many of the issues encountered during renovation. The parquet and walls were the most disappointing. Oh, my parquet floor was not well-polished, nor was it well-varnished, even after THREE times of re-work!! The last time of work done left my parquet with 2-toned varnished floor in my living and bedroom (see picture). Overall, the end result of this renovation was still not up to par and did not justify the previous positive reviews given. I didn’t expect it to cause such a headache for me as I had thought that Houzz’s reviews were trustable. And, beware of the prices charged. Secretly embedded higher costs into things such as water, electrical and heater point installations. House owners, please don’t be fooled. Do your research before engaging your contractor. Honestly, I do not recommend this contractor.

We lucky enough to have Ming Sing Construction to remodel our kitchen cabinets. They are excellent, efficient and offer great workmanship. Tiong Lee is a responsible and honest person, who helped us oversee the project from start to finish. Thank you very much.

Tiong Lee, from Ming Sing Construction, served us very well. Though he may come across young, he has apparently been in the line for at least ten years. Despite being on the quiet side, one could say he was a good listener. He was able to advise and make recommendations for practicality on what we wanted done. For example, we wanted hanging mirrors for our wardrobes, but he actually recommended dual tracked sliding doors with mirrors as they would last longer. This nature of his character allowed us to create a house that was an expression of ourselves, while being practical. In terms of finish, we are very particular and are happy to say that he has met our expectations. He patiently resolved any issues we had after we moved in, without hesitation. I would strongly recommend anyone to trust him with your home.

Renovation of kitchen and 2 bathrooms were renovated very well. Very neat and good workmanship. Specifications and requests by me to the contractor was very well accepted with him giving good advice as well. The work was done in a month and the house was handed over to me in good and clean condition. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a contractor as Tiong Lee is very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable.

Engaged Ming Sing Construction (Interior Singapore) for my parents' new flat upon recommendation from my friends who have used them previously. Quotations were prompt upon coming to view the flat and understanding our needs. Suggestions provided by Tiong Lee towards our requirements were constructive if not better than what we had in mind initially. Queries were usually answered promptly without much delay. Workmanship is good, quality of finished work is of high standard. Instances whereby we had to rectify some faults were carried out immediately without grouses. Overall high quality work at a very reasonable cost. Will recommend for future projects.

We hired Ming Sing Construction to renovate both our toilets as there was water leaking into the toilet floor. By and large we don't remember any hiccups. Work just got on. Whenever we required more detailed info like the workers schedule, in order that we may leave the house, we simply contacted the contact person Tiong Lee. Toilet was subsequently done, with the flooring and drainage properly inclined so that the water drains completely. All in all good job.
