Athena Thompson is the most talented designer we have ever worked with. We bought a large, unfinished beachfront condo in Florida and had no idea where to start. We met with 3 Design Firms and Odyssey was the clear choice from the moment we met Athena. She gleaned some of the unfocused vision we had in our heads and made the magic happen. She took a shell and designed: custom cabinetry and built-ins which were expertly installed by her Husband, JR ; chose marble and tile finishes for all bathrooms and worked with the fabricators; designed lighting plan and provided expert electrical installation; designed and chose window treatments with master craftsman workmanship; and chose beautiful and functional furnishings that we enjoy every day. Athena met all of our deadlines and budget requests, and has such a great rapport with her craftsman and sub-contractors that we never had to worry that we were not present. We could not be happier. Several others in our building have since worked with Odyssey after seeing her work in our home. Subsequently, we built a custom home in New Jersey and Athena provided the Builder with Architectural changes, lighting and electrical plans, trim plans, slab and tile plans, and flooring plans as well as furniture placement.
