I knew OGD were committed to our project when the Landscaping Team arrived to start work on our garden at the same time as "The Beast From the East". They still completed the work on time! I found the whole OGD Team friendly and flexible and it was characteristic that they came back after completion to see how things were.Also, there were no hidden surprises,once the price was agreed that was the price.Despite the hot dry Summer many people have commented on how beautiful our garden looks.

We used Oxford garden design and are really happy with the result. They changed our boring new build garden into a really nice outside space, we have children and dogs and needed something practical but never thought this could be achieved whilst leaving us a beautiful garden to relax in. Everyone was absolutely lovely to work with and the guys working in the garden were great, we had a project manager and office team who really helped and made sure the finish was how we wanted it. I would definitely recommend Oxford garden design and will use them again for the next stage in the project!

Oxford Garden Design were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We needed their help to rectify some work done by another contractor. They were friendly and efficient, the price beat the other two quotes received. The work was done exactly when they said it would be and to a very high standard. We had a slight concern at the end of the project and they immediately sorted it out.

Oxford Garden Design have done an excellent job transforming a patch of bare grass into a wonderful garden for us to enjoy. We downsized from a very large country garden to a modern townhouse with a bare garden. We asked Oxford Garden Design to create a garden with no grass and to incorporate our precious Rhododendrons Azeleas Agapanthus and garden ornaments we brought from our old garden. We wanted a blue and white theme and a garden we could leave for long periods when we are abroad. We worked closely with the design team who were very knowledgeable and gave good ideas to get the right balance and look we wanted. The project "build team" headed by Patrick were very professional and took care to clean up at the end of each day and have consideration for our neighbours. They were very careful to check all the plants from the nursery and replace any that did not come up to scrutiny. We were delighted with the end result and we have had many compliments from neighbours and friends.

Oxford Garden Design transformed our very small garden into a haven of peace and tranquillity. Previously just a patch of scrubby grass with an overgrown fruit tree, they listened carefully to exactly what we wanted, and worked around the art studio which already took up most of the available space. My husband's sculptures are now displayed in a beautiful outdoor 'showroom', full of soft colour, texture, different heights and interest. Now in its second summer the garden has matured into an oasis where it is wonderful to sit in the evening, drink in hand and entertain or just take in the peace. Birds and insects love it. In a busy, urban environment just off one of Oxford's busiest roads, OGD have given us the most wonderful garden to enjoy. The company kept exactly to their quoted timescale and price, there were no hidden extras, and we are so grateful to them for giving us this amazing outdoor space which has greatly added to the value of our property, financially and as an environment for us to enjoy.

I have no hesitation in recommending Oxford Garden Design. In 2015 I bought a new house with a beautiful garden that was ripe for further development and improvement. Working with Karen, the designer, we came up with an ambitious plan to add a greenhouse, vegetable garden, new perennial beds, paths and a large deck and landscaped area next to the house. The majority of the work was carried out during the winter months in awful wet weather, but the dedication of the team was amazing and the quality of the work excellent. A year on the garden looks fantastic and draws much praise and admiration; it also gives me so much pleasure.

We first used Oxford Gardens in autumn 2014 – we had a much depleted area in front of the clinic and Oxford Gardens were the most pleasant and professional team to respond to messages left. Sheena worked with us via email and phone, and was mindful of our budget and also what we wanted to achieve in terms of atmosphere (calming and natural) against a lot of road traffic. We were able to keep some large existing shrubs, with Sheena managing to get hold of a Photinia to balance against an existing specimen, as well as a pair of lovely bay trees for vintage pots we had purchased, including blue hyacinths which smelled heavenly and were a real surprise , flowering at Christmas! Sheena also advised and planted a wonderful display in a wooden purpose-built planter at very short notice before the clinic opening a few months later. Since then we have remained in contact and have received advice and quotes for projects in the pipeline. Professional, thoughtful and personal – we would use their services again.

After I moved into my house in 2010 I was desperate to get the slightly existing mature garden redesigned to get rid of the overgrown and unmanagable vegetable patch and an ugly concrete path which was adjacent to an unsightly concrete wall. Sheena at Oxford Garden Design put together an amazing design that incorporated all of the aspects that I wanted in my new garden. I like structure, but appreciate a cottage garden feel. I like formal borders and wanted a garden that could be used flexibly by my small son as he grew up. She put together a garden design in 2 parts, a circular lawn in front of the existing decking and a triple archway adorned with wisteria and clematis, bordered with 2 large adjacent beds leading to a rectangular lawn. She removed the concrete path and replaced it with a bed with shrubs which have grown up to hide the concrete wall. 2 existing trees remain which give the garden a mature feel. The vista from the house draws the eye through to the end of the garden with a small paved seating area. A lattice fence secludes the shed and some smaller raised beds for growing vegetables with my son. 6 years on and the garden has matured better than I could have ever hoped and gives me so much joy every day. Most of Sheena's planting has remained with a few tweaks along the way. As planned, we built an extension, replacing the decking. The circular lawn was converted into a circular patio which is now used for eating and barbecuing. The garden has definitely evolved over the years as our needs have changed, but none of it would have been possible without Oxford Garden Design's vision. They understood and captured everything I wanted in their design and so much more! I now thoroughly enjoy the view from my kitchen 365 days of the year.

We knew that we wanted Oxford Garden Design to work on our garden from the moment we saw their website. A very professional company with a hardworking team who did a fantastic job at transforming our garden, both front and back, from a complete mess into a place that we will be spending a lot of time.
