Patterson Homes did an excellent job refurbishing my stair railing and building out a couple of closets. They were quick and did not try to make me spend outside my budget at all. And frankly, suggestions Lawrence had were better than a full replacement I was wanting to do and it looks absolutely amazing! The crew didn't finish until it was right and I couldn't be happier! I will be using them for my next project and probably all of them!

Work began 3/2018 remodeling kitchen, master bath, flooring in 4 rooms. No exaggeration something went wrong every step. 1st superintendent quit weeks into the project. He was a big reason we hired this company We hoped it was just sour grapes but came to find near half the company left at the same time to form their own company. So if wondering where all the previous good reviews came from..probably those guys. He was replaced by Darren who gave lip service to being the best and having no problem picking up the project. Smooth talker, good salesman, horrible project manager. Was almost never there! Only time we'd see him was damage control after we complained enough. Even yelling at us over the phone at times. Reached out to the owner twice & NEVER a response. He sent our concerns to the same employee we were expressing concerns over, just making things more uncomfortable. CARELESS! Promotes employing workers direct rather than contracting as if it’s good, but just means less excuse for the poor performance. So with that I'll list just some of the endless problems: 1.Explicitly asked for and bid clearly stated kitchen & bath cabinets were to be all plywood construction...much of the boxes and all shelves are particle board. When questioned we got doubletalk & buzzwords to make it sound like we got what we asked for. 2. Signed bid said cabinets lacquered for anti-scuff & scratch. They scratch easily and the paint color transfers when wiped in some areas. Refused to do much but say the bid shouldn’t say anything about scratch resistance...well it does! Touched up a few scuffs (at our insistence…even the most obvious were left unless we said something) and did not lacquer over these spots. 3. ALL the cheap particle board shelving they put in all cabinets is chipped and scuffed and there’s a giant hole in one of the cabinets 4. Plumber (Dion) tightened new oil rubbed bronze tub faucet with rough tool that chewed up the finish and left without saying anything. They did replace it after enough complaints, but their billing and bookkeeping is so bad that I’ve no way to know they didn't double charge me for this and any other screw ups they went back and "fixed". Couldn’t/wouldn’t itemize or logically explain any billing, and left things in invoices they never did. 5. Same plumber, sent to install touch activated faucet. Installed as a regular manual faucet and neglected to install electronics.Left again without saying anything. And he took the electronics with him for unknown reasons. So when we mention they say woops, but we don't have the parts anymore, don't know where they went...they should have never left my house! Eventually they pulled parts from a local supplier. Work but aren't an exact fit for the model and don't look right. 6. All 3 sinks installed leaked within 2 months...asked for a different plumber but they refused to send anyone else. 7. ALL grout used to tile master bed, bath floor, shower had to be re-dyed because the color was splotchy and just OFF. But of course, left it looking terrible until we mentioned. So they finally go back to fix, which takes multiple attempts because if we don't point out every spot (or even if we do!) they aren't going to catch it. Still not great in a few areas, but with this company it's something you just learn to live with. 8. They DO NOT clean up after themselves! Brand-new cabinets were so filthy it took days to clean the dust and pencil marks left! They did drywall after cabinets and didn't cover so drywall dust everywhere. They didn't cover much of anything and were ok letting the dust get all over house. Front yard full of grout because they just dumped buckets wherever. Wood glue left all over kitchen floor. Didn’t mask cabinets and got paint overspray on walls and left it. Cut wood in yard without covering and left a bunch of sawdust in the gravel. Cigarette butts left all over front yard. Old rusty tools and other trash left. 9.They DO NOT know how to install & grout beveled edge tile backsplash. Took 3 attempts to do acceptably, and only redid because we persisted. First 2 were so poorly done and defective it's insane we had to point out in the first place. 10. Installed the WRONG carpet pad. We ordered high-quality carpet and wanted the quality pad to match. For comfort & the extended warranty through the same manufacturer. They installed cheap Home Depot pad. Tried to doubletalk & say it's equivalent and still have the same warranty (false) and refused to fix. Then said "I didn't know" (say this a lot) but even if he didn't, why wouldn't he ask instead of install whatever he wants? Stood our ground and eventually they changed after a lengthy standoff. We had to walk stairs with no carpet and tack strips exposed for a while...like walking a minefield in your own home. 11. Not only neglected to pull permits, but actively confirmed multiple times they were absolutely not required for the scope of the project...Wrong! Came to find after all was done they ARE required. This is likely to cause a mess of future issues for me. Response was essentially that permits are a money grab for the city and they never get them because it's not necessary and it’s what they always do so it's ok. Licensed contractor fine with doing unpermitted work. 12. Took 2 months over projected completion date. And the only reason it's "done" is we won’t have anyone from this company stepping foot in our house ever again. We’re essentially left without a warranty. That’s just what could fit here. Have to hire a reputable company to fix & finish.I urge anyone to think twice before considering Patterson.

Patterson Homes is an impeccable company. They started my home remodel and finished in the timeline provided. All communication was thoroughly explained. Ryan Patterson was so helpful and knowledgeable on all material. The office staff was outstanding and responsive when needed. Thank you for everyrhing you did.

Roger Galasso with Patterson Homes was our project manager and he was wonderful to work with. He kept us informed throughout the project. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done and highly recommend Roger and Patterson Home

Had a leak in my upstairs bathroom and had to have the entire bathroom remodeled. I got the pleasure of working with Matt Hintze. He made the entire stressful situation dissipate by handling all the details. My upstairs bathroom is the most prestine and beautiful bathroom in my house. I look forward to working with Matt Hintze and Patterson Homes in all my future remodeling projects.

We recently moved into a manufactured home that had an apartment attached to it rather then an AZ room. It was not accessible from the main part of the house. Instead the windows that should have looked out into the AZ room only looked upon wall and pink insulation! We talked to many contractors and were told different ideas and some not very willing. When Darren came to our house to see what we wanted he stood out above the rest! He knew just what we wanted and he is the only one that actually took pictures! He said this would be no problem. Got back to us with the estimate the next day, which was very agreeable. He sent his first crew out to do the demo work and move the windows to another wall. Made a opening so we could access the new room. Did a fantastic job! They were all very professional and super nice guys! Then the next crew came to do the electrical and sheet rock work, also super nice guys and did an expert job! I told Darren I wanted barn doors for the opening and he said they could make them!! My barn doors are absolutely beautiful!! Perfectly stained to the color I wanted and installed by Curt! I LOVE OUR NEW ROOM and would HIGHLY recommend Darren for any job! Job was done on time and on budget. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

I started a remodel of my 1960’s bathroom a few months back. I had a family friend do the demo and was referred to a tile guy, who I provided with a picture of my dream shower. When I heard the quote he provided I was a little shocked to say the least (he was doing it as a side job and informed me it would take at least a month…). Not only was the labor quote outrageous but he provided me with a list of construction material I had to provide him beforehand. At this point, I became overwhelmed with stress and decided to get a second quote. I happened to stumble upon Patterson Homes and I am so incredibly happy that I did. I called Tyson and he worked around my busy schedule and met me at my house the next day. I think he could tell that I was stressed and completely ignorant to anything construction/tile related so he took his time explaining everything and never once did I feel like he was trying to take advantage of my ignorance. The quote he provided was half of what I received previously and he said they could finish the work in a week. I bought tile for the floor of my shower that was kind of an impulse buy because I was so eager to get started. When they arrived to start the job the next week, Tyson suggested I look at options that would go better with the rest of the shower, so happy he did! Not only did he suggest different tile, he actually went to the store for me, took multiple pictures of tile better suited for the theme I wanted and even picked it up when I made my decision. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and extremely professional. I work during the week and never once did I feel uncomfortable leaving them at my home while I was away. They showed up when they said they would and worked hard all day. Diego was so awesome and laid the tile piece by piece. It is absolutely perfect and everything I wanted and more. I was always able to get ahold of Tyson anytime of the day and he made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Patterson Homes!

We contacted Patterson Remodeling on recommendation of a friend to finish our bathroom ceramic tile floor, remove popcorn ceilings, lay luxury vinyl planks, paint the interior of the house and raise the living room floor...Andrew contacted us promptly and gave us very reasonable quotes...We hired them and are extremely pleased with the results...There were no hidden costs and the job ended right on time...All the people who came to the house: the cement guys, the tile layers (Nestor and his brother), Mark Sr and Mark Jr the paint and popcorn guys were all very personable and professional...We would recommend Patterson Remodeling highly!

I recently had a emergency with a plumbing issue and had to redo my entire bathroom. I meet with Shaun McBride from Patterson Homes and Shaun handled EVERYTHING that was needed.Thanks to Shaun's empathy and knowledge we were prioritized with very little time lost.Please do your self a favor and ASK for Shaun McBride if you need it done efficiently.

Brandon Gurr did amazing work on our home. He built a custom entertainment center for us that turned out exactly as I was hoping. He is very professional, hard working and skilled at what he does. We’ve hired him for several other jobs (one being for flooding repairs) and we will continue to call him for all our home renovations and repairs. Brandon is the best in the business!

I'm a real estate investor here in the valley. I recently had a project I needed to complete in a timely manner but my regular contractors were both tied up with other projects. After making several calls to other contractors who were referred to me by peers in the industry, they too were all busy or unable to start when I needed them. That's when I came to this website searching for help. Based on their high reviews, I chose Patterson remodeling to complete my project. Darren was my project manager and handled everything from the start. He answered all my calls, emails and texts in a timely manner and was extremely flexible with additional requests I made to complete the job. The project was completed within specifications, budget and ON TIME. I would not hesitate in recommending Darren and his team and will be using them again in the future.

We hired Darren Lawson of Patterson Homes for what seemed like a small job...replace the glass window in our shower with glass blocks. Upon installation, the crew headed up by Jesse came across a few challenges—using the existing window frame with no damage to the frame itself/surrounding tiles and dealing with the exterior of the house. They worked tirelessly running back and forth to stores to get the materials needed to build out the frame to the exact specifications needed for the size of the glass blocks. We did come across an issue with the placement of some of the blocks but that was quickly fixed to our satisfaction. The team’s precision with framing and installing the glass block window was impeccable and there was no need to repair anything to the outside of the house, including the sunscreen that went exactly where it always sits. We ended this job by hiring Patterson Homes for additional work in our home. Great job Darren & Patterson Homes!
