Paulina was instrumental in transforming my living and dining rooms from "drab" to "fab". She kept my costs in line by working with my existing furniture. Her recommendations for paint colours, area carpets, curtains and decorative pillows resulted in a wonderfully coordinated look of which I am thrilled. What I most enjoyed about working with Paulina is that she did not impose her opinions but rather worked to help me complete my vision. I would not hesitate to recommend Paulina. Where do I start...but thank goodness for Paulina! Initially my mom and I started looking around at stores and shops on what we needed to renovate her home which included a new kitchen, appliances, hardwood floors, stairs, windows, light fixtures and repainting all the rooms. It didn’t take long to find out how overwhelming a project it was going to be! So in comes Paulina…right away she was filled with ideas and options that she knew my mom might like. Her choices were traditional yet modern for today’s decors for homes. All her choices for kitchen cabinets, granite counter top, floor tiles and backsplash all tied in nicely. The hardwood floor blended in well with the kitchen and the paint choices complimented the flooring. Once complete the kitchen was so functional and looked like a piece of furniture. The living and dining areas looked so much bigger and the paint colors gave the home an upscale look. We would have never had the outcome we had without Paulina’s expertise and/or experience. We have used Paulina's Interior Design several times over the years. We have used her to purchase furniture for both our bedroom and family room. Paulina designed and had the vanity in our en-suite upgraded. She has helped us choose fabric for several chairs and had them upholstered for us. We recently replaced window coverings in over 1/2 of our house through Paulina. We found Paulina very professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Paulina, (Paulina's Interior Design) is the most wonderful person with whom to work. She helped me source beautiful furniture for my home some years ago and when I moved to a new house and learned she had her own design company, I was happy to hire her. Her best talent is her ability to listen to what it is you want and then deliver. Too many designers insist on "their vision" but Paulina makes sure you get what it is that YOU want. (If you are making horrendous decisions she will point that out, gently, but you end up feeling that you really got to express yourself and that you did not buy into the latest trend). I also love that she has amazing resources at hand; you want a painter - a great one will be at your door, you need furniture refinished - the best furniture guy in the world picks up and refinishes your things; you need drapery, cushions ... yes, those are made by talented individuals while Paulina coordinates and oversees that all is done well and on time. She has never disappointed me, my home is beautiful and she is the reason!! Thanks, Paulina! (I should add, she will work with a picky husband who fancies himself a designer and leave him feeling as if he made all the decisions - quite a talent)!
