We used Michael Paxton of Paxton-Lockwood Interior Design to help us furnish our new home. We only retained a few pieces of furniture from our previous homes so he had nearly an entire house that was a blank canvas. Michael spent time understanding how we lived and entertained. That time was well spent because the designs, furniture choices and fabrics matched our style. But he also pushed us out of our comfort zone to create a design that was more than we could have ever imagined. We enjoyed our shopping trips with Michael. We appreciated his guidance. In the past we were overwhelmed by the choices, but with Michael’s excellent guidance he made the process stress free. Michael is extremely organized so we could make the best use of our time. He worked within our revised and more realistic budget. We continue to receive compliments from everyone on the sophisticated, yet livable style Micheal helped us create. We recently used the services of MIchael Paxton of Paxton Lockwood for the remodeling of our home. We were incredibly happy with all the work that Michael did for us. His ideas and thoughts were terrific, and he did all of this while working within our budget. Michael was extremely professional and polite throughout the entire process and we would happily recommend him to anyone (as we have already done so).

Michael provided an excellent solution to a challenging living room and delivered a very luxurious and elegantly contemporary space for us. We had so many family and friends give us ideas as to how to place the furniture but nothing resonated with us. At our first consultation with Michael he provided a solution within 5 minutes of seeing the space. He is very pleasant to work with and his style, creativity and professionalism can be duly noted and respected. We immediately understood his vision and that he was very sensitive to the budget and designed well within those perimeters giving viable options and solutions that were not only beautiful but also functional. We are thrilled with the results and thoroughly enjoyed the journey with him.

Michael Paxton is an extremely respectable, and honest person, and a pleasure to work with. The project was completed on time and within budget. Mr. Paxton and his work exceeded my expectations. I was absent except for one day during the project ( 3 months) and I was amazed at the care of my possessions, and how clean the entire project site was kept. My new home is lovely.

Once the basic floor plans were done, Michael Paxton basically designed my entire house, the whole look, interior and exterior. He did a fabulous job. It is beautiful. I have gotten high compliments from everyone!!!!! He is easy to work with, has great taste, can be trusted. he also does not get miffed if you wish to use old furniture and art, though he will be truthful with you about his opinion. His partner is efficient with the billing, and accurate and Michael is very fair about not charging you for every second of his time. He gets good deals.

Dear Sirs, Thank you very much for answer me. I am an architect with 26 years experience. Before one year, I had my seven companies. One construction, two companies who makes designs for big projects and commercial. All relevant objects with the studies Architect major projects. The activities it was in Greece and abroad. Italy, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece. At the moment I keep only one design company involved Architect works, but unfortunately in Greece I do not think there will be future for such projects I had. For this reason I would like to work with other agencies such as your company. The level of salary, or the way of working with you, I do not care particularly, but it should be write for the level of my experience. In the companies I had in the past, i had about 12-15 people in each. I am doing a lot of travelling, and it’s not a problem for me to come to your offices and have an appointment with you. Michael Paxton did a complete overhaul of our house in Colorado. We started with the interior, but he then surprised us with his vision for the exterior which did wonders for the look and feel of the property. Michael designed stunning wood paneling to the exterior that made the house really stand out. We could not have been happier. From an interior perspective, Michael outfitted bedrooms and living areas, helped pick upscale carpets, and remodeled a bathroom that went from out of date to cutting edge design. All of Michael's projects came in on time and on budget. It was not only a pleasure to work with him, but great fun at that. I would highly recommend him to others; he has a great eye for space and how to use it. Michael has just completed our flat in San Francisco and we are equally thrilled with his vision, be it city or country decor.

You will love working with Michael- excellent ideas, creative approach to each design opportunity. Taste in fabrics and furniture makes the project all come together. Easy to communicate with and always willing to go the extra mile.

I have worked with Michael for 10 years on & off. He first helped me with furniture for our guesthouse. He has done 2 remodels for us. One, figuring out how to put a laundry room into other existing spaces. We just redid our kitchen & mudroom. A few years ago he was brilliant in the design of an outdoor space. He is creative & detail oriented. He gets things done! He works with excellent people who are as reliable as he. His pricing is fair, he is completely honest. He has a great sense of humor! We feel very lucky to have someone like Michael to work.

We have hired the design firm of Paxton-Lookwood to do three of our homes in the past 15 years. Either our Miami or Aspen homes, it was always a total pleasure to work with them. Michael flies in to see the property, spends hours discussing what you envision and then wonderful detailed packages arrive with multiple choices/ideas to choose from. So easy and not time consuming on my part. I'll admit, I did hire another designer once but ended up calling Michael and having him come save me and my home! *The only "attitude" Michael has is to PLEASE you. *No project was ever too small or not completed as promised. *Happy to answer any questions anytime! *Best design team you'll ever work with!

Creative. Innovative. AMAZING eye for detail. Got very creative to stay within budget. Presented the most beautiful fabrics and combinations to consider. Highly recommend.
