Portland Direct Tile & Marble

This place was beautiful. Everything was displayed beautifully with tons of options. We went to lots of places during our remodel journey and this was by far the best. They were all very friendly as well and didn't hesitate to pull out some large format porcelain tiles for us to look at. Highly recommend them!

Victoria was extremely helpful, the tile prices are good and they’ve got a good selection. Unfortunately, we found that the tilers that were recommended to us were either no longer in business, don’t work in Washington, or unwilling to do a commit to a start time even though they say they’ve got nothing scheduled. So if you already have someone to set the tile or can do it yourself, don’t bother with this place. Our job still has not been completed and we bought our tile over 2 months ago.

Excellent customer service. Victoria gave us lots of good ideas and creative suggestions about our fireplace and really listened to what our particular needs were. She patiently answered our many questions. They have a large, varied selection of stone and marble and dozens and dozens of trims. While we were with Victoria, we came up with another project for our condo. I recommend Portland Direct without reservation.

Great experience working with Steve and Victoria at PDTM. I found my quartz counter top here and I am completely happy with how it looks installed and the glass tile back splash looks amazing as well!! I'm a Designer. I have worked with many tile places. But, PDTM is the best!!! They have an excellent selection of top of the line products. Their staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Their customer service is outstanding! Their pricing is always great. I highly recommend this place for your future remodeling projects. The best part about Portland Direct was their store layout. The first few stores we went to are chock full of choices and brands and you have to weed through pages of tile samples. Portland Direct has fully tiled displays so you can see what your final product will look like. I highly recommend them for all your tile and granite needs. Victoria was great to work with. We don’t have the best eye for design and she was able to help us put together a great set of tile for our bathroom. She was familiar with our contractor which also made things so much easier when it came time to order. The lead time was fast and the pricing was fair and comparable to other stores. A very easy experience.

These guys could not have been worse to work with. The tile that was delivered has a different name and doesn't match the color of the sample pic they sent us at all. You can see the contrast in the pictures below between what they sent us and what was actually delivered. They claim the tile has a different name because they use a different name than the manufacturer. Ok, so even if that WERE true, the color still doesn't match. Despite all of this, they refused to do anything about it and told us the sale is final, leaving us with useless tile. I couldn't possibly discourage anyone enough from using this company. I'm sure they will respond to this and try to explain all about how it's not their fault. But think about it. If you are sent a picture of tile with the name that exactly matches your tile and seems to color match very well based on the color. Then you are sent tile that has a different name and is many shades darker than what it was supposed to match to and the company won't do anything about it, is that a company you really want to work with? See pictures below.....and then run.....to ANY other company.

We have completed a master bath remodel and now are building a new home. Steve and his team have been fantastic to work with, great pricing and top of the line tile. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking to remodel or build new. They have many types of tile and flooring at greta prices. Scott & Kimberly

I have been working with Portland Direct for over 15 years now and appreciate so much the wonderful customer service they provide us here at Comfort Interiors. If we are trying to find a specific look for our client, all I need to do is call Steve or Victoria and they help me search for it. When issues happen, and it does everywhere it is the nature of the beast, I can count on Portland Direct going above and beyond to make it right. And just an example of going the extra step, most companies make you purchase slate by the case, and you take what the lot has, but when I needed to add on to an order and the client needed more of the rust tone to make the job flow right, Steve let me come out and dig through the pallet for what we needed. From the moment I walked in the door I was warmly greeted by Victoria. I had a large kitchen remodel planned and my contractor had sent me there to pick out materials for the backsplash, counter, and floor. Victoria made the process very easy and fun.
