I had an addition and full remodel done on a 1936 duplex conversion. It had been flipped once in 2005 as a single family home but the finishes were cheap and the flow didn't work for us. We added 1000 sq ft and reworked the layout. We did have issues along the way and they were able to address all of them. My husband and I were both very pleased with the work that was done and we would happily recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel/addition.

The project was a total renovation of my historic house. Basic mistake was that they did not account for venting of the crawl space when putting on the addition - this is basic - 101. I raised it numerous times during the construction, but I was assured it was fine. Just 9 months in, I am having to do significant work to address issues caused by their poor advice and assessment. There were other issues which I can share with anyone looking to do business with them

Having worked through the design process with the client, the project was then handed off to Remodelers of Houston who came in to do the construction. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship showed off the design in a way that compliments us all. Thank you!

Shawn Vacek at William Shaw and Associates, Inc. provided construction services to replace all aging water, sewer and gas utilities at my 1930 quadruplex in the Montrose, add a new addition that include laundry facilities for me and my tenants, a potting shed, store room and a glassed-in garden room, a new connection from the old building to the new addition and a new 4 car garage. The work was both extensive, detailed and complex. He was always responsive, always listened, extremely knowledgeable about every construction process, always tried to protect my financial position, creative in thinking of the best way to solve a problem and one hundred and fifty percent focused on my satisfaction with the construction. I intend to do a Phase Two on this same property; I will certainly be talking to Shawn about doing the work.

William Shaw & Associates provided a full service renovation to my 1920 bungalow, adding 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a family room and garage without losing the look of a 1920 bungalow. They kept a clean site and did a quality job.
