R.R CONSTRUCTION built my home at 225 Saranac Drive, Sunset SC. This is located in THE RESERVE a gated top rated community on Lake Keowee. We worked very closely with principle Rick Browne throughout the process. He is an architect and builder with great vision and a fine gentleman with a strong sense of integrity. We are very pleased with the finished product, regarding it as the finest home we have ever had. There was some stops and starts due to failures of some subs though nothing serious. This was somewhat expected due to the fact it was R&R's first build in this area. This has been subsequently resolved with R&R having replaced many subs with their own employees. If we were to build again in this area, there would be only one choice of builders for us. That would be R.R. CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT LLC

Rick is correct when he says each project has a unique story and this is our story after we hired RRCD. We contracted with them to build our lake home on Lake Keowee. We found that Rick is very good talking the talk, but when it is time to produce, he doesn't always walk the walk. There was little oversight of the subcontractors Rick hired resulting in a house behind schedule and over budget. Rick was habitually late to meetings with us and subcontractors, usually resulting in either delays or quick decisions attempting to keep projects on schedule. There were even some meetings Rick never made. There were times if we questioned the schedule or Rick's decisions he would ignore our emails which we found to be unprofessional, very frustrating and counter productive. Our opinion is Rick has some good ideas but all too often doesn't complete and deliver on those ideas. It is our opinion that Rick is an architect learning to be a builder. In our house there were numerous oversights on Rick's part which caused schedule delays and increase in budget. In short, RRCD lacks builder professionalism, builder knowledge, quality work and the ability to meet deadlines and budgets. In our opinion, if you decide to hire Rick and RRCD, tighten your seatbelt and get ready for an emotional roller coaster ride. We definitely would not recommend RRCD to anyone for any size construction job.

Rick and team helped us with multiple small to medium projects ranging from: a small FL condo bath remodel, that truly transformed the space into a New England beadboard flush elegant bathroom, with a soaker tub. Also he helped us to sensationally remodel an upstairs guest bath in an 1880's Queen Anne Victorian home, modernizing the feel and comfort of the bath while staying true to the historic character. RRCD does outstanding work, and we would recommend them for any project, large ( full house design + build ) or small remodel projects. True professionals that 'get' their client's needs!

We had a very unusual and specific need for design. We have a situation in which we needed to add space onto our existing home to accommodate quarters for our daughter and her son. Rick listened to our specific needs and designed a home with additional space for our needs. We gutted our existing home, added on and we literally have two homes under one roof and common spaces between the two. It has worked out beautifully and we have loved living in our home every day for eight years now. Two years later we added a new four car garage and put in a large lanai and pool. Rick transformed the old garage into a great pool house room and incorporated the old driveway into a large lanai and courtyard. It has everything anyone could want and we enjoy it every summer. Before and after pictures are amazing!! Rick is a fabulous design architect and can bring your dreams to reality. He is truly gifted with spacial designs. He listens to what YOU want and delivers great ideas and designs.

I used Rick for complete architectural services. Site viewing, property sits on lake Michigan so MDEQ permitting necessary, drawings, on site visitation and consulting while building and interior/exterior design services. fabulous work
