Legacy Design-Build

Extensive kitchen and powder room remodel. Legacy provided design-build services. Very pleased with design, had designs and prices from 2 other firms. Felt like they really listened to our needs and wants to come up with a plan that fit our house. Total job was complete in 6-7 weeks. Remodel included removing a wall, all cabinets, replaced flooring, all cabinets, appliances, lighting. Quality of the subs was high, all were very professional, work was done on time. The cabinets are beautiful, the cabinet maker was so helpful in the overall design and use of each cabinet. The granite fabricator spent a lot of time with us to lay out the granite to best highlight the color and pattern. The painter went above and beyond to try to help solve an structural issue in the ceiling (origninal construction). The only concern with the lack of daily project management, we had to initiate calls daily with questions, updates on status and any concerns. All concerns were addressed timely but we felt like on site project management would have been appropriate.

Legacy remodeled our kitchen and living room in the spring of 2012, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We were initially just looking to improve the kitchen, they showed us designs that completely rearranged the entire main floor with minimal additional cost, and kept it within our budget. During construction, they kept us updated at every point and told us what to expect next. When things didn't go as planned, as happens with most large remodel projects, they addressed the issue immediately (even when they were on vacation). The end results of the remodel were outstanding. They transformed a dark, cramped layout on our main floor to a bright, open space where we love to spend most of our time in the house. We interviewed many contractors, we choose Legacy for the professionalism, great communication we had from the first bidding process. We added on 1400 sq feet to our home, with the gutting of the old main floor and adding the new space with a full basement. Legacy and all the subcontractors were friendly, cleaned up after themselves, on time and very trust worthy. Legacy finished the job on time and on budget. There were never any surprises in billing. Matt and Rusty are so easy to work with! Matt was on site everyday and Rusty made sure he was in communication at all times if needed. We would recommend Legacy for any small or large job anyone would have. We will also be contacting Legacy for more jobs in the future.

Hired them to put our bathroom back together after a we took it back to the studs. They were great to work with. Super friendly and VERY professional.
