About Us

Roberta Ahrens is one of Northern California’s Master Decorative Painters with over 35 years of experience in the application of classic and contemporary painted finishes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in many different techniques including sky ceilings, old-world stone, Faux Bois, Murals, Hand Painted Custom Maps, and Contemporary Botanicals on Cracked Linen. Her long-time practical knowledge of artistic construction applications and her extensive experience in painting large-scale murals led her to develop her own extraordinary, unique style of painting and carving on a canvas that she makes by hand, called cracked linen. The results are truly breathtaking, the technique of carving adds depth and presence to her floral subjects that makes them even more textural and intriguing.
