The Foxx Company

We have had the pleasure of working with the Foxx Company for the past two years during the design and construction of our new home in Rancho Mirage, CA. As Canadians who could not be there in person throughout most of the construction, Foxx went out of their way to keep us updated and engaged, including setting up a video cam and sending photos. The house turned out beautifully and exceeds our expectations! The quality of construction and attention to detail is exceptional. We are so proud of our new house! Foxx has continued to impress by being immediately responsive to inevitable minor hiccups. In summary, we have thoroughly enjoyed the process of building our dream home and are very happy that we entrusted Foxx with the construction. Thank you to the Foxx team!!

We were thrilled to find a company on the Houzz.com website that was working in our area. We made our first contact with Jeff Cursi by email on July 7, 2014. We wanted a plan that included a makeover of our living room wall with a fireplace that needed to be replaced. Additionally, the design was to include a kitchen and bar remodel that would all tie into one and other. We met with "the team" which consisted of Angela Wells, designer, her Contractor and Father, Danny Foxx and Jeff Cursi, who seems to run the office, pricing, purchasing and scheduling. They were an impressive team. We discussed our project and a plan was drawn by Ms. Wells and Mr. Foxx had reviewed the kitchen and bar specifications. We wanted to start with the living room and follow with the kitchen and bar area. We were shown a project that was ongoing by the team and had opened discussion as to cabinet choices for the kitchen and bar. We had selected the type of wood cabinetry but were anxious to discuss the color with Ms. Wells. We were given and accepted the estimates for the work We selected our fireplace, tile for the floors and we waiting for Ms. Wells to assist us in a wood selection for our shelves. This never happened. In fact, she has not contacted us since late August. We were told the permits were pulled, the fireplace was ordered and in and we had a tentative start date for the first week of November with a finish date of before Thanksgiving. They dropped the ball! When we called and emailed for confirmation of the start they ignored us. Once we did make contact we were told they were too busy for us and would have to wait until after the first of the year to begin the project. This was unbelievable, we were so frustrated that we severed our relationship with the Foxx Company. Now four months after we started with Foxx Company we are starting over completely. They have wasted our time and energy and the emotional toll has been very high. We are completely stunned at this turn of events.

We've worked with The Foxx Company for many years on a wide variety of projects and custom glass pieces and it has always been a pleasure. They are professionals who create luxury custom homes with some of the most beautiful architecture and outstanding interior design in the desert. When they contact us for a project we look forward to the work ahead, because they help to make our job easy: they know what's needed and they know how to communicate and corroborate with their client and with us, to make the process as easy as possible for the client, with a beautiful end result. The Foxx Company did a complete refurbish on my tired condo. Replaced all flooring (tile and carpet), updated lighting, new cabinets in kitchen, remodeled my fireplace, and painted entire unit. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism. The workmen were always on time, worked steadily, and were always respectful. They left the work areas tidy at the end of each work day as I was still living in the unit. At the completion of the project they sent in what I like to call the "haz-mat" crew. They cleaned the entire unit including all windows and mirrors. It sparkled like a jewel when they were done. I am very pleased with all the work done and my home is now beautiful.

After living in our home for almost 2 years, once again we called upon the Foxx Company to help us brainstorm and create a guest bath to make our guest room more of a suite. They managed to steal a bit of space from a garage without compromising it's use, took a bit of space from an existing closet and managed to create a luxurious hotel-like bath. We couldn't be more pleased! Since we are in a drought in So Cal, we also asked them about transitioning our yard to a drought tolerant environment. Phase one has just been completed, a large front courtyard transformed into a stunning desert environment with photocell activated lighting and drip irrigation. Wow, what a huge difference, we love it! Daniel has intuitive as well as aesthetic sensibility. Plants, boulders, lighting, it took them only 2 days and it's just magical. As the weather becomes more forgiving we will complete the rest of the project with complete turf removal. Stay tuned, thank you, Dan and Jeff and Art, you guys are the best!
