My husband and I contracted with Mr. Hummer on 6/2/18, and provided him with a deposit of $11,500 to get work started on our Master Bathroom. We met him on 6/16/18 to pick out floor and wall tile, but until 9/21/18, we didn't hear from him, but weren't bothered by that because we were tied up dealing with a sick relative. However, when I pressed Mr. Hummer about when he would get started with our project, he kept stalling and providing excuse after excuse, until my husband and I requested to cancel the contract on 10/23/18, at which point he had performed no work or purchased none of the materials for our project. Mr. Hummer stated that he would return our deposit of $11,500 on 11/6/18, but as of 11/23/18, we have not received our deposit and continued to encountered difficulties in obtaining our deposit from Mr. Hummer as we have requested. My husband and I told Mr. Hummer that we believe that he took our money under false pretenses and never intended to completed our bathroom renovations. Instead, we told him that he took our money and used it as a personal loan to serve his own purposes. Mr. Hummer has acted in a very unethical and unprofessional manner, and I would never recommend him to anyone else. I'm just hoping that we can get our money back so that we can hire a reputable contractor to complete our bathroom renovations.

Tom and the crew completed a bathroom remodel for me. The finished product rivals any photo you would see here on Houzz. I would highly recommend The Bathroom Company for any bathroom remodel project!

Tom was a delight to work with in helping with the design decisions and selections. It could have been overwhelming without his input and experience. I was in a hurry due to expecting house guests within about 3 weeks. Tom put Jose Guttierez' team on the job and they were fantastic! They completed the job with time to spare and and just added some extra touches I hadn't thought of like a door stop and a new door handle. Their clean up was terrific! I would definitely hire them again.

The workers did their jobs well, and I'm pleased with the results. : ) The workers were always polite, and did their jobs well.

Everything was excellent! This was my first major remodeling experience and I was very overwhelmed. Tom had a very calm demeanor and was able to guide me through the process. All of the workers were very experienced and knowledgeable. It turned out perfect. Like one of the workers said, "It's so beautiful it should be in a magazine"! I couldn't agree more.
