We hired Black Butte Building to tear down our dining room and Kitchen walls to make a great room. We hired Shane as he was always on time during the bidding process and was very honest. Shane and Luke are very nice contractors, maybe the nicest we’ve ever worked with. Their craftsmanship is outstanding especially drywall repair. Shane is good with design and is patient and cares about the end results. Don’t hesitate to hire this company!

We hired Black Butte Building and Design LLC to restore our 30 year old 1000 square foot redwood deck and stairs. Shane and Luke were very thorough, meticulous and honest in their approach to our restoration paying special attention to safety. They were very careful to salvage and reuse as many boards as possible and spent hours prepping and sanding before applying stain. We were also impressed with how neat and tidy they were; cleaning up completely everyday, The stain was laboriously applied with a brush, not quickly rolled on. Our deck looks amazing, is safe and ready to be enjoyed for many more years. Shane and Luke also replaced damaged siding which looks wonderful. We were shown license, bonding and insurance information that was in order and much appreciated. Black Butte Building and Design LLC embodies old school values and work ethic earning our trust for future projects.

This company was wonderful. They repaired outside siding, did some painting and replaced a laundry room door and floor boards. I was most impressed with their professionalism. Showed up on time, cleaned up nicely every day and work was to perfection. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner Shane and his employee Luke. Highly recommend!!! Would hire again in an instant.

From step one of the design concept to completion Shane was professional and prompt, easy to work with and a true carpenter. I trusted him and his sub in my home at all times . They both were honest and respectful of our property . We had a deck that was not only falling apart but unusable. Now we have a deck worthy of gracing the cover of any home improvement magazine..
