The crew is dependable, has great knowledge, competent and experienced in their trade. They did an amazing job on our home! We really appreciated that Steve answered all of our questions about paint colors and types of paint. He painted our exterior, a porch floor, exterior doors and a bathroom ceiling. He did a clear and precise job while talking through the estimate and with the paperwork, which he gave us ahead of time, so we would know what to expect cost wise. He is very organized, and keeps everything tidy. I am a stay at home mom, and I felt totally comfortable having them at our house. They were very respectful and communicated well，kindly, and, clearly with me. Finding out that they had also done work for my husband's ad agency, really sealed the deal, as their offices are very well put together and they have used high end architects and contractors on all of their projects. Their company places a lot of value in art and style which generally makes things a lot harder to create and requires teamwork with artistic talent on every level. I can see why they chose Steve. He was able to work with my more artistic/abstract way of thinking and pull from what I was communicating to help make decisions on color and color placement. I appreciate the part he played in helping us choose the right color and sheen for what I had in mind. I am really happy with how it all came out.

Steve and his crew are the best! Steve is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and he was a pleasure to work with. Advance Painting was hired to paint both the exterior and interior of a 100+ year old crafstman bungalow under restoration. He had very specific recommendations re: the type of paint for the exterior given that the siding is 100+ year old redwood. He also took on the task of replacing, glazing, painting and/or varnishing some of the original double hung windows which look fantastic. The hardwood floor of the entire house had recently been beautifully restored so I was reluctant to invite a painting crew inside. They were extremely careful and there was zero damage or even scuffing. I highly recommend Advance Painting!

We have relied on Steve Grivjack and Advance Painting for several years. They have always done an outstanding job. Steve and his crew are very meticulous, with an excellent attention to detail. Steve got the colors just right. Because this is an historical house, they made sure that any repairs needed were brought to our attention and addressed. Each year after completely painting the house, Steve has power washed the house and then touched up and blended in where needed, which helps avoid a complete re-painting until needed. We have used Advance Painting for all our painting needs since 1997. Steve Grivjack is a real professional, who is truly customer focused. The quality of his work is outstanding, plus he uses high grade paint and materials. Further, he and his team do a thorough clean-up at the end of each work day. Now for more detail: Steve painted our previous residence, a single family home, inside and out, completing multiple jobs over the years. Most recently Steve and his team painted the inside of our newly remodeled town home. Once again we utilized his color consultation services. Working with his wife Jane, they helped us select the perfect colors for our walls and ceilings to tie our place together. With new hardwood, counter-tops, tile and carpet, this is more complicated that it would seem. While we replaced cabinetry in the kitchen, thanks to Steve's expertise we were able to retain the cabinets in the the two bathrooms and give them a fresh updated look. This worked even though everything else in both bathrooms was new. This certainly helped with the total remodel costs. Early on in our remodel process, Steve recommended that we also replace our interior doors (circa 1984) and are we glad he did. They truly made a huge difference in giving our home a totally updated look and feel. Steve just has that eye and attention to detail that makes all the difference.

We hired Steve Grivjack, owner of Advance Painting, to complete the painting and staining of our new construction/renovation project. Steve was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional regarding his craft, explained all aspects of our detailed project clearly, was very careful and respectful of our property, was timely and cleaned up after each work session even though he was returning the next day to continue. As homeowners, the clean up part was huge!! Steve's prep work, attention to detail, craftsmanship and ability to stay on budget have earned him our highest recommendation. A fantastic job on refinishing kitchen cabinets. They went from a dull faded stain to a vibrant white. It made the home look modern and clean.

Advance Painting Company is fantastic to work with , Steve the owner very knowledgable , creative , respectful of time frame for completion of a project . The painting of my two very old commercial buildings was incredible , Steve and his great crew knew exactly what my 60 year old buildings needed regarding the correct preparation and type of paints to use . Both buildings are beautiful in color and have added a nice fresh style to our community .

We renovated a historical 1920 house 5 years ago and hired Advance Painting to do the job. We used historical, custom colors on our house which in some cases were recommended by Steve. This was no easy job but it was the most professional paint jobs I've ever experienced and I have been part of many. Steve's approach is meticulous and detail oriented -- so often lacking in painters. Also you will receive an accurate upfront quote. If your looking for a cheap, cutting corners guy, this is not your man. Steve is a great and a joy to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
