Susie was a great design and colors cooridinator for me and ramrodded the job with the contractors. The contractors she brought to the job were very knowledgeable and gave other suggestions on how to do this or that. When there was a slight issue with the fireplace, she was on top of it with the company and all got straightened out. The place came out great, with colors and furniture ordered. I would recommend using her in the future. My project was small as I am a condo homeowner. She helped make my purchase, my home and not the home that I bought from someone else. Everyone's tastes are different and she helped bring out what I wanted into my home.

Susie did an outstanding job helping us renovate our shore condo. Her vision for our kitchen and main living area were totally outside the box and we loved the design plan. It came together beautifully. The space is now open with clean lines and seems much bigger and brighter now. The lighting, flooring, backsplash, cabinets, and countertops are so beautiful and functional; the furniture is comfortable and sturdy. Susie is always professional. I had never worked with a designer before and was a little intimidated by the idea. We live in a small tract home and with a limited budget it seemed wasteful to hire one and would a designer even want to do our project ? In the past we had just did everything ourselves or with a contractor only and we always regretted some of our choices, and wondered how we could of done it better. After my second consultation with Susie all my fears have been allayed. Even though we are just finishing the planing stage of re-doing my basement, her layout and space planning will fulfill all our needs. Her ideas and product research will help me save money. We are now on our 2nd project with By The Sea, and Susie. We started with a remodel of our bedroom and master bath, and now we are onto the living area. She has been super professional and made our bedroom an oasis that just feels wonderful. Susie broke it all down for us and made our journey completely seamless. She didn't push her style on us or steer us toward super expensive decor that was not necessary. The end result was simply OUR style with her professional vision. Susie's ability to visualize a room and pull my ideas into an exquisite beautiful room was remarkable.Her professionalism and knowledge made this a wonderful experience.She stayed within budget and followed thru till the room was detailed to perfection. Her examples and attitude kept the buyer in tune to what the outcome would be. The room was odd shaped with a off centered fireplace that I felt would never be able to have a cozy feeling. Susie is amazing! I hired her to help me pick fixtures, paint, and the overall look of my 100+ year old rowhome in Philadelphia. The house had previously been condemned by the city, so this was a complete renovation from top to bottom. I had a family member (who had recommended her to me) managing the project with me, and Susie handled the all the personalities involved with complete and total grace. She picked the most beautiful gray and white paint scheme for the home, which garners a ton of compliments and looks perfect with my existing furniture and textiles. For the bathroom and kitchen she chose oil-rubbed bronze fixtures to match the age of the home. But my favorite piece is definitely the dining room chandelier. It's wonderful vine structure is something I never could have found on my own and quickly became one of my favorite features of my home!

Susie from By the Sea Home Decor was wonderful to work with. We wanted to update our shore home with new colors through out, new counter tops and appliances in the kitchen, all new window decor, update bathrooms with vanities , lighting, and faucets. Plus decor items and bedding ensembles through out. Susie handled the contractors, providing samples and helped guide us through the whole remodel. Since we work full-time and not located in the immediate area, Susie would leave ample samples to choose from and took us thru one step at a time. The whole project was thought to be over whelming but not when Susie was in charge. The whole home flowed and was coordinated through out. She met all our expectations and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her services without hesitation.

Susie met with me to understand my style and budget and worked with me to achieve the exact "look" and "feel" I wanted.
