We know that an Architects’ worst enemy is his ego and his best ally is his ability to combine artistic expression, construction technology and the client's needs. Some Architects have many awards. To receive an award, an Architect has to submit a project for consideration. Some firms have an entire department assigned to this task. Our philosophy concludes that these awards are just to bolster the Architect's ego. We would rather put that energy into our clients' projects. Architecture is a balance of ideas, requirements, and financial guidelines. We have over 30 years of experience totaling more than $500 million in the development of single and multi-family residential, resort, commercial, medical, institutional and spiritual architecture.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with this architect. We hired TAB to design a barn conversion and found their work not timely or efficient or on budget and most of all not the creative approach we thought we signed up for. Not recommended.

Tab and his staff did a terrific job of designing our family house on a special "high view" lot. Always had great ideas and helped us stay on our plan.

Tab Associates designed a new home for us in Arrowhead. He and his team were able to meet all our requirements and requests. Specifically, we requested that they take full advantage of our views of the valley. The home turned out even better than we had hoped. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them.

I have known Tab and worked with TAB and Associates for many years on high-end projects around the Vail Valley. From a builder's perspective, TAB produces solid plans that show his creativity and great structural integrity. He understands the balance between design intent and field work, budgets and client's wishes. Whenever we have a question in the field, Tab answers the phone and works on a solution ASAP as time is usually of the essence. I would recommend TAB for your next project.

I have built many large homes in Colorado that were designed by TAB and Associates, Inc. and I have known and worked with Tab for over 15 years, he is a solid professional. He and his team know what it takes to be creative, consider clients needs and wants, and produce a set of documents that makes it easy and efficient to build. Tab is great at creative thinking and space planning, as well as knowing the nuts and bolts of good construction documents. He is also a pleasure to spend time with. TAB and Assoc was great to work with. They were creative, professional, prompt and responsive. We had many special and unusual design requirements that they embraced and produced for us. I would recommend this firm to all and would definitely use them again should we decide to build again.

The project was a large 2 story addition to a local Community College. I worked with TAB Associates as an engineering consultant on the project. My relationship with TAB Associates goes back 12 years and like all of the other projects that we have done together this one as outstanding. The design process went very smoothly working with the College staff to meet there needs and budget. The project came in under budget and on time and the college is very happy with the finished product.

I used Tab and Associates to design my home in Colorado. The experience could not have been better. Tab was thoroughly involved , not only in the design, but the construction through completion and beyond. Commented: what colors are the walls?The walls are an integral color drywall like plaster, but done with the mud. There is a base color that is a little darker with a skip trowel of a little lighter color over the top. Then it is white...
