The Paver Company

We had DG pathways on our steep 1/2 acre lot, that were not working for us. Met with the Salesman, and he worked and designed what we needed and wanted. Gave us a bid and we put them to work. We were amazed at how well it all turned out. The crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves and very hard and fast workers. It has been over two years and we have had no problems, and just love our backyard. Highly recommend them Pam G. Auburn California

All good. After 4 redisigns with our extremely pacient-thorough design guy James, we decided to move forward and hire the Paver company. We shopped there price against a few competitors, and while they were not the lowest they were the best value for the dollar in my opinion. For one thing, One other company offered a price 5% less, but in researching we found they did not have the correct license for pavers. The work went extremely fast, and while it seemed a lot to pay for 3 days of work we realized after looking online that the materials were likely a large percentage of the cost. We would hire the Paver company again if the need arose and we can recommend then to anyone without hesitation.

We hired this company to redo our backyard. They installed an RV pavers pad on our side yard and a retaining wall under three feet in height. The sales rep. promised the what the installation crew said could not be done. The installation crew was not professional. They treated our home and neighborhood like a construction site. They dropped their lunch garbage where they happened to be standing at the time. They acted as if we did not exist. They would only talk to the Paver Company job site manager who was only on site a few days out of the three weeks and only for a hour. They dropped their tools and equipment wherever. They made our neighbors drive through and walk around their mess for three weeks. Not because it was necessary but because they did not care, did not want to take their time, energy, and had no respect for others. Day 1 and 2 of the installation we watched how they worked. They scrapped wood 2x4 across the bottom of our pool while trying to cover the pool which they never succeeded in doing. The crew lied about doing this. The owner of the company thought it was a joke and would only say, "That's why we have lots and lots of insurance". After day 2 we had to supervise and manage the job every day! We videotaped everything due to the lies. We could tell as soon as we got the video camera out that they started acting more professional. After that they were rude, installed as fast as they could and gave excuses for everything we questioned. We hired a professional company because we did not know anything about installing pavers or retaining walls. Every Time we questioned something they would question why we did not do our research better or again always say it's under warranty, we have lots of insurance. We have the video evidence of how they installed the job! However, we would have preferred a professional installation!! The retaining wall was 3' short of where the sales rep. said they could install which was the only reason we went with them. This was told to us only after we questioned where they had already started the wall after half of the yard was already done. If we stopped and did not agree with the change we would have lost thousands of dollars, had to shop for someone to fix their mess! If you have ever been in this position then you know what a stressful and heartbreaking position this company put us in! Worst of all the owner again was a royal beep beep beep! They have been by far the worst company and group of people we have ever dealt with! Oh, we also ended up with additional cost. Day 2 they wanted an additional $2,000.00 because the sales rep. again did not estimate the job correctly. For three weeks this was a nightmare for our family to go through.

Very professional. Showed when scheduled, completed job faster than estimated. Left the area very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company.
