We hired O’Neil Architects to upgrade and modernize our kitchen and living space in our house which was built in 1916. We added a two car attached garage, mud room, a laundry room, small office area and family room. We remolded the kitchen and butler’s pantry. They did a great job making the new areas blend in with the old part of the house. From the outside it looks like an old porch that was closed in and from the inside it looks like it has always been there. They did a great job at listening to the way we used the space and what was lacking in the old design. I think with any building project things come up that that where not planned for but we where able to work together for a great finished project.

O'Neil Architects provided architectural services and designed an addition to our home in 2007-2008. We were so pleased with the work that we hired them again in 2010 to design our basement renovation. This year they designed a portico for the front entry that will be constructed in 2012. The design work was a collaborative process whereby we, as homeowners, were consulted at each stage of the process. The work for each phase came within the budget estimated at the outset.

Commented: Knee wallsThe knee walls are 1' deep and 3'-6" long, 3' tall. They are built in bookcases on the kitchen side.
