Vikki is my lifesaver! No one understands color and how it affects a space better than she does; or how space affects color choice, for that matter. I have worked with her on three different projects -- my own (former) house, my (current) apartment, and a small cottage in Maine that belongs to my family. Some of the projects have been small, and some have been quite large, but they have all been gloriously successful -- and none of them would have been successful without her professionalism, style, and eagle eye for details!

For a lighting makeover in a master bedroom, Vikki provided the client with the design, layout and fixture selections. After we installed everything, on went the lights—13 LED downlights arranged around the room's perimeter—and the result was beautiful and a huge improvement over the previous lighting scheme. The client was very pleased.

Vikki helped me with my remodel in Newport RI, including full gut of kitchen and bathrooms. She had amazing ideas for how to improve the livability, appeal, and unique style of my home. She was responsible for several important decision around moving walls, vaulting ceilings, and designing within small spaces that have made my cottage the gem it is today. Her sense of style, color and how to use lighting helped transform a tired house into a cozy, happy home. Vikki was accessible, reliable, and cheerful throughout the entire project. Vikki VanDamm is designer well above others. Her style and work is distinctive, stately and elegant; it elicits glowing commentary from all who view it and those of us who live in it. She is the only designer with whom I have worked who immediately pictures and describes to you textures, colours and layering of design in that empty space that you are both looking at so you get a sense of what it could be. Further to that, she incorporates you, the client, your thoughts and explorations into the project. Victoria worked on my bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms & dining rooms in my homes in both New York and Connecticut. Our home in Connecticut is in the woods and I wanted my master bathroom to feel as though I was perched on a tree. Victoria came through and the end product was stunning.
